This is my oh crap I just got home from a long road trip, played 1 game and now I have to travel and play another game play on the road.  I looked at every single game last year where teams played 3+ road games then returned home.  Then I looked at their record in a back to back that happened in the next week.

07

24-36-2   (3+ Road, H, Then first B2B < 7 days)
13-21      Eastern coference teams same criteria
3-8         In division with same criteria

Not much to go off that is eye popping, but then looked at 3+ Home Games 1 Home then the next game was a ROAD B2B.  This only happend 7 times all of last year.  Probably cause it sucks.  Teams were 1-6 ATS.  That is something I can run with.

In 08

5-6   (3+ Road, H, Then first B2B < 7 days)
0-3   Eastern coference teams same criteria
2-2   In division with same criteria
1-2   3+ Home Games 1 Home then the next game was a ROAD B2B.

Tonight the Bulls play Milwaukee (not to far of a commute but it still sucks.  This game falls under 3 criterias Eastern Conference game in the division with 3+ Home Games 1 Home then the next game was a ROAD B2B.

Bulls beat the Bucks in the opening game of the season against former coach Scott Skilles and knowing Skilles because he used to coach the Bulls; he wants this game.  This is the same man that tried to fight Shaq.  Milwaukee is on a 4 game losing streak.  2nd game in a row the Bulls have faced teams with 4 game skids.

My play MIL -4

Favorite Scott Skilles story:

He was coaching in a NBA game where one of the players on the other team was continually getting yelled at because he was doing the same thing over and over.  It was driving him nuts, so during the next TV timeout.  He went to the opposing player and coached him up on what he was doing wrong.  I love it.

I love this angle.  Few things worse in the NBA schdule than returning home from a long road trip, playing one home game, and then having to board another damn plane THAT SAME NIGHT to play a road game the next darn day.  Bucks -4 it is!  And I like the over, too, since the Bulls will surely play little to no D.

Thanks for you input; always nice to hear from a respected hall of famer.

I think they drive to this game that is why I put "not to far of a commute but it still sucks"  I initally wrote getting on a plane too but I just didn't want to have a bunch of people jumping in the thread calling me out on the type of transportation to the game.  Bottom line it sucks.  GL tonight

Like Milwaukee too, just don't like laying the points, but I probably will.

I played this last year and have played it this year.  So far it is 3-1 ATS (4-0 SU) on the season.  Ive looked at the schedules and there are 11 remaining plays on the year:

December 27th against Utah

Jan 7th against Philly

Jan 14th against Detroit

Jan 20th against Atlanta

Jan 21st against Utah

Feb 11th against LA Lakers

Feb 18th against Phoenix

March 23rd against Minnesota

April 2nd against Milwaukee

April 5th against NY Knicks

April 11th against Portland

Happens to Utah twice, and I find it odd that they play houston in both of those situations.  Hope this saves you time if you havent already mapped it out.

Great Information!!! Can you tell us the previous 4 teams and dates that were affected by this scheduling? I love this angle and there are a minimal amount of plays for the whole year which is even better!!

Thanks for the info, very good to know.  Nothing is foolproof, but if it gives you an edge, that's a good thing.

By the way, Mil -4 is their line tonight against Charlotte, I almost bet Mil -4 even though it was the wrong game until I examined the Charlotte schedule and re-read your initial information and realized it was the wrong game.  It pays to not blindly follow and actually look at the situation yourself.

That being said, I sort of like Mil -4, even though Charlotte is 3-0 in last three.  Both bad teams for the most part, though.  Just a lean at the moment.
