Here are my season long bets that I have placed. I probably will not be adding more to this but will update it if I do:
Championship winner:
Spurs 1 Unit +1000 - This more of a value bet than anything. The Spurs are loaded this year and if they remain healthy there is no doubt they will be in the Western Conference Finals. They are a lot deeper than years past and even though their players are aged, the players on the Lakers are getting just as old.
Season Win Totals:
Hawks Over 44.5 wins 5 Units -119- The Hawks got a few key additions this off season and a great rookie in Teague who is opening a lot of eyes. The Hawks should be a force in the east and improve on their win total from last year. I love their style of ball and their players as well. I think they can get in the high 40's and maybe even hit the 50 win mark this year if the team remains healthy.
Twolves Under 25.5 wins 2 Units -115- This team is just flat out horrible and the loss of Kevin Love does not help. The health of Al Jefferson is uncertain as well and the team is the youngest in the league I believe. They have a rookie leading the team and their bench is not deep at all. They will struggle to make this mark of 25. I would bet more on this but the past couple seasons the twolves have always put together a late season surge to rake up the wins when they do not matter.
Kings Under 24.5 wins 2 Units -124- As a Sacramento native I have followed this team since the times of Wayman Tisdale. They reached an all time low last year with 17 wins and should improve this year but I don't know about 24 wins. Kevin Martin is always hit with an injury and they have a very young team. They are very hard workers, but will need a few years to develop. Tyreke Evans is a stud and will grow a lot this year. I would love for the Kings to do great, but as a bettor, I think this is a solid play.
