Week 15 Arrives

And I have 4 units to work with after last weeks 4-6 beatdown.  ytd 39-37 as I limp toward bowl season.

For what seems like my whole betting career I have pounded the Middies and made tons of  off the Black Knight's ineptitude..... but this year.....Army can run the ball too!  And they have the better defense and just might finally turn the trick in this one and take it SU.

Army +8  Navy

See you for the Mormons and UTEP.

Final Five Take - Week Eight

Another 3-2 week last go, but that beats 2-3.

YTD: 15-20-1 - 3.8 units

Game One:     The Zips are enduring another horrible campaign on offense and they are down to their 3rd string QB to boot.  I kinda have some love for Greg Paulus because he has done a respectable job without a very good offense around him, albeit I am not enamered with his penchant for tossing picks.  After a tought season, the Cuse gets an easy one at home.

Syracuse -10 over Akron

Game Two:       All that chalk in Tuscaloosa has my attention as I should have pulled the trigger on Carolina last week @ Alabama.  Not only are the Vols capable of beating the spread in this one, but could win SU IMO.  Saban's boys don't score many points so just a few talleys on offense by the Orange will get it done here.

Tennessee +14.5 @ Bama

Game Three:        I believe in the 7-0 ATS Vandals and this one will keep these WAC upstarts atop the heap in their division for another week.  These guys have made some good for me this season.

Idaho +15 @ Nevada

Game Four:     It's not pretty, but the Hawkeyes just keep getting the job done with a defense that spends the 2nd half of each contest completely shutting down opposing offenses.  Just as they have done all year, Iowa will prevail by the final whistle.

Okie Dokie Week 7

YTD: 25-11 +15.85 units Past 3 Weeks: 16-3   Best 3 weeks of my wagering career may come to a end this week, but it was a good ride fellas.   Troy -3.5 @ Florida Intl.      I'm getting things started early this week with Troy visiting the Sunshine State to play the squad with the weakest offense in D-I ball.  The Trojan attack nets 442 ypg. while the Jags labor at 226.  Troy should get by this by DD's IMO.   Iowa -5 @ Indiana      With an impressive defense ranked 21st in the land, the Hawkeyes are most stingy vs. the run, giving up less than 100 yds a tilt, including holding all-world Spartan running back Javon Ringer in total check last week with 25 carries for only 91 yards.  I see the Hossiers having trouble scoring and difficulty stopping Iowa's bruising RB Shonn Greene.   North Carolina -7 over Notre Dame      The Irish have to travel to Tobacco Road to face a Tar Heel squad ready, waiting and more than able to punish the Gold-Helmeted invaders.  With quality victories over Miami and Connect., the Heels should be able to bully overhyped Jimmy Clausen on their home turf.   Western Michigan +1 @ Buffalo      The Broncos are putting up their 13th ranked passing extravaganza against the Buff's 110th ranked passing defense.  Nuff said here.   BYU -23 over New Mexico      The Lobos only know how to do one ...
