1- Chip Kelly - Oregon    timing maybe off this year as Ducks don't play until Jan 11

2-Gary Patterson -TCU  has built a very nice program

3-Bob Stoops - OKLA  coached at Florida , turned down job 6 years ago, a proven winner

4-Jim Harbaugh- Stanford  great young coach

5- Chris Peterson- Boise  winning 90%

6-Larry Kehres Mt Union great track record I know he won't be hired, but I think he is a great coach

7-Dan Mullen - Miss st  long time assistant under Meyer , very good with QB

Any other choices out there?

Bill Stewart........then no one in that division will ever have to worry about Florida again.baby

Bill Stewart is the perfect example of why you don't give an assistant a major program in his first head coaching job, let him work his way up, like they do in baseball.

Look at Ron Zook, Randy Shannon, start like Urban , Bowling Green, Utah and then Florida

Buzz is that if Stoops turns it down Peterson could get it. Foley wants a proven winner

not a florida guy but wake up. stoops is terrible, wouldnt want stoops coaching my high school team. patterson is happy moving to a power conference now and he will dominate the big east. chip kelly????? are u high, he wouldnt leave that place unless the florida ad threatened to kill his family. and phil knight would kill the ad before that happened anyway. the guy is peterson, strong california recruiting base, great special teams and the best young coach in the game. he is urban meyer!

Revis I didn't say they could hire Kelly away from Oregon......

Peterson is making more and more sense to me

My friend at work says he heard from an insider that the choice is going to be a shocker!  They havent spilled the beans yet.  Maybe they will do  a one hour special like Lebron and call it "The Decision"!

I say Jon Gruden

Gruden popped up for the Miami job , but I can't see Chucky

Right now I see Stoops turning it down and then Peterson getting it

As an FSU fan, I'm thinking Josh McDaniels.

Foley wants a proven WINNER

Josh McDaniels is NOT a proven winner

Draw your own conclusion

You are really overestimating the Miami coaching job.  Miami is not a top 25 school to be head coach at.  No established coach is going to take the job.  Peterson gets paid very well at Boise and there is no chance he'd move to Miami.

If I were Miami, I'd be hoping for Kevin Sumlin.  Sure he had a down year, but he lost 2 QBs to injury.  With the money saved in hiring Sumlin vs a big name guy, get a top notch def coordinator.

I only have one choice, and I can't believe he hasn't already been mentioned. Would provide continuity and leadership through this transition. Steve Addazio.

Steve Addazio is one of the big reasons Florida is 7-5. He is a terrible OC and a bad play caller

This also detracts from his bad job as OL coach. If Meyer was back he would be demoted as OC

There were rumors Indiana was after him. He woukd be as bad as Zook

I was talking about Peterson for florida coach not Miami !

Big unit was talking about Gruden for Florida , I never mentioned him. Look at my wish list

First Bowl pick

N Illinois  -1

Fresno is in a tougher conference and many people play down the MAC, but NI is the better team with better running 6.4 ave and a better QB in Harnish who has only 5 INT with 20 TD

Coach has departed and brought the line down , but I feel NI is a TD better

Hey guys!....Here at Pitt they're after the off. coordinator from Okl. St. I believe....He has won at every one of his stops....Pitt fans, alumni and athletic dept. finally had fill of Wandstet's boring offense!....Want the 'wide open' that this coach represents!...My best!!

Not John Gruden, he will want too much money.  I don't think he can relate to college players, anyway.
