Since the leagues merged almost 45 years ago no team had overcome a 15-0 deficit with less than 3 minutes left

Denver had never won before in Miami ( 0-7) and that includes Elway !

After the game I returned to the Dolphins express bus and 3 guys from Canada , who I had just met, earlier in the day are sitting there, and asked me what happened. With about 5 minutes left they had gone looking for a beer and a TV to watch. They found out that they stop selling beer and there was no TV, so they went back to the bus, and I explained what happened !

The crowd was a mixture of Fins fans, some rooting for Tebow,Bronco fans, Gator fans, and Tebow fans. I was there with my Tebow Bronco jersey and gator hat, and for almost 3 hours watched one of the most boring games I had ever seen. For 58 minutes they only let him throw a handful of  times, never over the middle, and knowing the bus wouldn’t leave until the game was over I sat there. Then all of a sudden I am a grown man screaming like an idiot and all the Tebow fans are high fiving and it turned into some kind of happening. Bronco receivers are making incredible catches, the first TD is reviewed and upheld. Then there is another diving catch at the 3 yard line, reviewed and upheld, Did I mention a recovered on side kick. Then a screen pass for a TD and it is 15-13 and Miami calls time to set up their defense. Tebow runs a QB draw and the game is tied with 17 seconds left. Miami takes a knee, why not, and the game goes into OT. Moore is stripped of the ball and the Broncos take over in Miami territory. They are on the fins 40 and that would mean about a 56 yard FG. Do they try to move the ball?, No they run into the middle 3 times and Prater who has missed his first 2 FGA trots out to try a 52 yarder. He bangs it home with about 15 yards to spare, and I feel like I have witnessed a miracle, It was something like the Redford flick, “The Natural” only that was Hollywood !

I was at the South Carolina game in 2006 ( against the Ole ball coach) when the gators blocked a FG, at the buzzer to preserve a 17-16 win. I was sitting right behind the gator bench, and a sense of calm came over me as they were attempting the kick, and I just felt they would miss , and they blocked the kick and went on to win the National championship. But that was nothing like this last few minutes.

Timmy has done it again. What can you say about this fine young man , with a heart of Gold, Maybe Redford was watching !
