Atlanta Falcons line started at -10. On my site it's dropped down to -8.5  Is there something about this game I am not aware of?
Redskins are 0-3 on the road and Falcons are 3-0.

The books don't panic for money, they price the lines based on how much action is coming in and they overvalued the line on the Falcons at -10 as the opening number because public perception is what drives the line. The books only beg for money right before the game when they have a ton of favorites playing crappy teams on a million parlays that they know they will have to pay out.

If the line moved a point and a half it's because there was either smart money or large wagering on the Redskins (god knows why, they stink) and the books move the line to get a 50/50 split on the action so they can profit from the Vig. They don't panic, they just adjust the line to get even action so they can profit no matter who wins the game. That's how Vegas is run.

They only panic when a million people have the same teams on parlays and they all cover, like what's been happening the first 8 weeks of the season, that's why Vegas is crumbling right now...
