KSU -1.5

I'll be siding with the Cats and I'll keep my perfect record betting for/against the Cats this season intact.

I realize that MU has a good rush defense, but I'm pretty sure that if Baylor can torch MU's defense for 400+, Bill Snyder will have success through the air when necessary.  Grant Gregory is throwing for 60%, which is sufficient enough to score some points.

Bill Snyder is 14-3 vs MU and never lost to Pinkel.  MU beat KSU three of the first four times they played under Bill Snyder.  He never lost against them again.  How the hell will Pinkel win in Manhattan with his current crew?

Question - how many touchdowns has MU scored in the second half vs Big 12 competition?

Answer - zero.

The formula for MU will be simple: stop Daniel Thomas, the Big 12's best RB.  Thomas, by the way, never played RB til this season.  He's averaging 5.7 yards per carry and around 105 per game.  Other than that, MU has to hope that QB Grant Gregory (who was 20/31 for 215 yds and 65% in Norman vs OU) can't get anything done on the ground or through the air. 

Not as big a play as last week, but I'll be on it as Bill Snyder outclasses another overrated coach.

Wish I would have jumped on it while it was at 9.  Oh well...I'm going with Cincy to take care of business tonight.  10 points is quite a bit of chalk to hand to WVU...but Kelly impresses the hell out of me.  Short weeks favor the home team and the superior coach.  WVU's offense has been clunky and they don't a lot of time to get it right.  Banged up defense...Stewart will be looking quite confused by 3rd quarter.  Good luck boys and girls.

This is a batch of games that make me a bit uncomfortable...but I'm thinking about them, nonetheless:

Baylor +24 - Mack really knows how to turn off the power...he'll do it again, imo.

@Purdue +3 vs MSU- I've never ever ever ever won with Purdue and I quite hate them. But they're sitting on 4 wins with 2 winnable games remaining. And a dawg at home.

Arizona +3 @ Cal- Cal rushed for 39 yards last week? Arizona's rush defense is as good as the Oregon St rush d that wrecked Cal last week. Wildcats 3-0 ATS in their last three, Cal 0-3 ATS. But man, I hate betting on Arizona.

Utah +20 @ TCU - 40-20 would be a serious beatdown...but it doesn't cover.

Gabbert and co will kick the crap out of KSU Saturday.  K-State is too 1 dimensional offensively.

FYI the Huskers are winning the North whether they beat KU this weekend or not.

Actually, Nebraska still has 3 conference games, if KSU loses to Nebraska, then NEB has to lose to KU and their final game Colorado for KSU to be Big 12 North Champs.

So, this weeks game for KSU is relatively unimportant for big 12 championship, but is everything for getting a bowl bid (in case of a loss at the tough NEB home field)

Anyone that thinks that KSU is too hyped about the *big* win over KU last week is thinking of Prince's team, not Snyders. KSU will come out ready to play and get a Bowl Bid with the win here!

Take off the blinders bro.  MU with stronger power and lower YPP and better stability.  MU is the bet here.  My numbers indicate a double digit MU win???  gl

KSU is the play! Gabbert has a very gimp ankle and there O has NO running game at all! KSU has a healthy QB and very strong running game and a defense that can get to Gabbert.  MU does have a good defense but I think KSU is the better team here.
