I finally saw the brawl that almost happend. Pete Carrol is classless after that.

You know how there is unspoken rules in sports. You don't throw a bomb when you can take a knee to end it type of stuff.

One thing for sure is going to happen next year Barkley is going to get knocked out of the game. Whoever returns for UCLA will be out for blood. Number 91 for usc pretty much saying bring it on will got chopped and probably get injured in the game.

Every returning UCLA player will look at the tape the night before and Bring it. I know they already do but be cheap shots will happen and technically it's fair.

Carroll just proved he is a big of a dooch bag as Urban Meyer.

not patty cake but it is college, and for how serious it is we forget that these are still only 18 year old boys playing because they love the game and love playing in front of their fans not not for some fat check at hte end of the week.  its clear when a team is trying to run the score up, ucla played a hell of a defefnsive game and pete didnt want people who didnt watch thegame to know that a bottom feeder oof the pac 10 actually hung with one of the most heralded teams in college football.  teaems like usc just set themselves up by running up the score because when they face a superior team or one just catches them offgaurd theyre going to light them up as was the case when they played oregon they never took their foot off the gas...

are you braindead!?

yes... there are unspoken rules in football... one of them is... YOU DO NOT CALL A TIMEOUT WHEN A TEAM IS TAKING A KNEE TO SPARE YOU FROM MORE SCORING!

if you break this rule... EXPECT to have a bomb thrown on your ridiculously stupid asses on the next play!

unreal how stupid people on these forums are... unreal how stupid people on this planet are!  how can ANYONE possibly have this perspective on that play?

yeah sounds like UCLA set themselves up for that, when you're down 14 like that you don't call TO, if you do, them you are responsible for whatever happens...

I cant believe we're still talking about this last sequence of events by two bozo's of a coach.

Both were wrong in this situation. Move on.

UCLA CAN DISH  IT OUT, BUT THEY CAN'T TAKE IT.

When they beat USC 13-9, they acted just like USC did after the bomb TD.  What a bunch of babies coming out onto the field like that.  Boo Hoo.

Japan didn't know when to surrender either and we bombed them good.

Up until that bomb, the game was boring.  I loved it.  I laughed my ass off.  Just like the UCLA fans did when Stanford went for 2.

I cant condone the way USC celebrated like you did. Big difference between what UCLA did when they won 13-9 and what USC was doing after that bomb. UCLA just ruined USC's championship hopes and beat them. How is that the same? They deserved to celebrate.

USC acted like a bunch of little kids on Saturday. There are a bunch of chumps on this squad. They celebrate way too much. Its like watching an NFL cornerback make a hit/tackle, and then celebrate as if he just made his first tackle ever, or just broke the all time tackle record. Act like its no big deal. Its been a while since USC "celebrated" a UCLA victory. Why don't they celebrate? Because they expect to beat them and have much better teams. Thats what it resorts to this year for USC. If you would have told me that USC would be jumping up and down and celebrating against UCLA on 11/28, I would have told you the season must not have went as well as expected.

Saturday's game was embarassing for both Universities. This rivalry isnt about Pete vs. Rick, but unfortunately, its going to be for a while now.

But I'll also go on record and say Pete wasnt classless in this situation. Lame? Sure. Classless is a strong word. Classless would have been to do it with UCLA not calling a timeout.

It was just lame, thats it.

I agree 100 % half the people wouldn't even watch it if their wasn't $$$ on the line when these heavyweights plays shit teams you know they're gonna win it's all about if they cover the number.

No, people would still care because its USC and Pete Carroll. USC has the most haters in the country, along with ND. But its a different kind of hate. One's a hate because the program sucks but still gets too much pub. The other is hate because of success.

Thats the true definition of HATER.

Well put. Put my 2 cents in on it now it's over.

I might have used a different word, but I agree.  Pete needs more discipline on this team.  They look like a bunch of low-lifes.

Two reasons I loved the pass.  First, it was Barkley's best of the season.  Second, Bates finally did something unpredictable.

that pass by Barkley wasnt his best, not at all. Pretty easy to get it there when the pass rush isnt strong and the corners were playing soft.

FUCK Bates.

Well put..............as a Husky fan I had a hard time swallowing all this at 1st.......actually, I wanted to puke.......... but then had to learn to respect it. Beating USC was always huge, even when they weren't at their best.........long before Oregon even had a winning record.

Carrol is a wuss. That's why he couldn't cut it in the NFL. His ego was too big for the rest of the league. I always believed he was a good coach but he showed a real lack of class in a down year. There are a lot of coaches who have never been 8-3 but would never pull a bush stunt like that.

That was good for UCLA, call another time out and we'll score again. What were you thinking UCLA? what were you trying to prove?

Well next time learn how to lose with dignity.
