AZ v. Wash. Under 6.5 (+128) - With arizona struggling to hit during the slump they're in, i don't see that changing when Washington sends out Zimmerman on the hill tonight.. Washington hasn't exactly been on fire at the plate either & with Kennedy going for the D'backs i like my chances hitting this under. Both of these guys are premier pitchers and have nasty stuff.. Zimmerman is riding 11 2/3 scoreless stretch & Kennedy has won 7 of 8 mowing teams down.
Twins v. O's Over 9.5 (+123) -- although target field isn't a hitters friendly place & the twins struggle to score runs i really like this Over. Duensing is really up and down, but when he is hot he can be really really good, while the same can be said about when he isn't pitching very well... Duensing has been terrible in his 4 starts so far in August w/ an ERA over 6. Simon has been just as bad his last 3, w/ an era over 7.... Orioles can hit and they should rough up Duensing tonight, if they do the Twins have nobody in the pen that isn't on short rest. I don't think simon or duensings troubles end tonight and we see a balty 8-5 win.
ML's/RL's/Parlays
Brew-Crew -1.5 (+122) -- i'm basically not trusting ohlendor in this one and hoping that estrada will go out with a bang after leaving the rotation. I was on the pirates when estrada pitched against them 10 days ago and watched Manny pitch an amazing game.. I think he can do it again tonight and I think that the Brewers bats won't cool off and we see a 2+ win f/ the brewers tonight.
Phillies -1.5 (+115) - i am a believer in Vance, i like this kid's stuff a lot. They could very easily lose or win by 1, but I'll take my chance against the slumping mets at +money odds here.
Reds -1.5 (+120) -- Cueto on the hill, against a squad that has lost 7 in a row, what more can you ask for?? Obviously FL is due for a W here, but I don't think we will see it tonight. Cueto has one start where he has given up more then 3 runs and that was against the Cubbies who were on fire when he played them. He keeps his teams in ballgames & it should be no different tonight. I could see this being a 1 run game if Nolasco pitches a gem though. I'll take my chances w/ the RL in hopes that the Reds bats will heat up tonight.
Yanks/Tribe ML Parlay (+116) -- i first saw this line for the tribe and thought it was outrageous. How can the tribe who aren't at full strength be laying soo much chalk? The answer, Justin Masterson. This dude is sick and against a very weak hitting Mariners team I think he breezes through. The tribe score 2 or 3 in this one and it's over, against Beaven that shouldn't be that tough even in a day game. Yankees have owned the A's at Yankee Stadium and Mccarthy has really been struggling.. I'll take my chances w/ the 2 heavy ML's on the card today & parlay them.
