Possible lineups
It looks like Schweinsteiger, Germanys most important player. will get a rest or just start from the bench. Toni Kroos will step in. Özil should play. Likely Hummels will step in for Badstuber and Schürrle for Podolski. Hummels played a bad season so far. He and Mertesacker are kind of a shaky duo in the central defense, the only weak part of the German squad. Schürrle is in good shape. Normally you find Kroos more in the offense than Schweinsteiger, that means the Germans will play with just holding midfielder, but with 4 offensive minded ones.
Belgium will miss di Camargo and van Buyten. Van Buytens absence (suspended) is a blow for the Belgium defense. Besides that they habe a strong squad with a bunch of very talented players. Those guys have to attack and they will. I am confident they will hit the net (at least) one time. I expect quite a few goals in that match. Possible results imo : 3-1,2-1,3-2, 2-2.
