What’s up gents.  How about those Cleveland Cavaliers, thank goodness they did not implement themselves into professional record books as the worst team in pro sports.  I would have really cringed to see an NBA team at the top of that losing streak list.  Determination got them that win, and who else but the Clippers to end that streak.  If Blake was not there it would still be the most ridiculous franchise in the NBA.  Tonight we have some good games, going with some situational faves tonight.  AS always gentlemen, wish you the best of luck on all of your wagers.  Peace out - - - MAK

MILWAUKEE BUCKS – 2.0 (-115) - - - This is a dangerous game to bet on due to the fact that I am betting against a confident squad.  Indiana has been on a tear under the helm of Frank Vogal.  He has instilled confidence in his young studs.  Hibbert’s lack of production was solely due to mental anguish.  Jim O’Brian was an old school coach who had very different motivation techniques.  Another reason the Pacers have been playing so well has been due to the insertion of Dahntay Jones into the rotation, a lost man on the bench under O’Brian, Jones is now getting a chance to shine.  His defensive attributes are uncanny, but he can also score the ball.  Once Rush comes back he may not get as much time, but it would be hard to remove him from the rotation given how he is the best perimeter defender they have.  The Milwaukee Bucks are on the opposite spectrum.  They are not confident, they just cannot seem to get a win streak or any type of flow going.  It is really time for them to step it up, at home on a Saturday, the Bucks have been brilliant over the years.  The Wisconsin crowd always gets up for weekend games.  There is always a small section of “college type” fans at Milwaukee who are very vocal, CONSTANT chants of defense, consistent vocal support for 48 minutes makes the arena a difficult one to play in.  After a straight up loss, the Bucks are an impressive 9-4 at home.  After a win the Indiana Pacers are 3-8 on the road.   Both teams are playing on 0 days rest, Bucks flew from the west coast back home while Indiana had slightly easier travel from Indy to Milwaukee.  The Bucks are a respectable 8-6 ATS on 0 days rest and the Pacers are 4-8 ATS.  Tonight I really suspect the Bucks to be a little hungrier for a home win than the Pacers are for a road win.  Bucks need this game and I suspect Scott Skiles to drive that into his team.  Jennings has yet to have a breakout game since returning from injury, he may shine tonight.  The front court of the Bucks was horrific in the first half of the Memphis game.  Bogut, Ersan and Corey will have to step it up tonight and contain Granger and Hibbert.  The guard play is crucial for the Bucks.  Salmons, Jennings & Delfino have to step up as well.  Mbah a Moute is getting more time off the bench (finally) and should contribute positively on the defensive end and may have the assignment to contain Danny of Corey can’t do so.   When will it officially be time to fear the deer?  I hope tonight it begins.

CHICAGO BULLS – 2.0 (-115) - - - The Chicago Bulls were once again the demise of Jerry Sloan and the Utah Jazz.  It was a hostile atmosphere yet the Bulls still managed to come away with a win in Salt Lake City.  Rose was phenomenal and outplayed D Will every which way.  Tonight he goes against yet another top-tier point guard and he will be ready to go to battle against CP3.  Willie Green was implemented into the starting lineup due to the recent struggles of Marco.  Green is a potent scorer who helped New Orleans get a huge win in Orlando as 9 point dogs.  His size though, will come into play tonight.  Bogans towers over him and will cause him problems. A good gritty defensive player who is backed up by Brewer another good perimeter defender.  Boozer, Thomas and Deng are key tonight.  This front-court may have to battle with a returning Okafor, if not they still have to battle with Gray, West and Ariza.  Tonight I hope Trevor takes as many shots as he did, he is a horrific shooter yet still gets ample opportunity to shoot.  West has a monster game but Boozer may contain him somewhat on the glass.  The bench for New Orleans in quite underrated at this moment as a lot of guys have been stepping up and providing good minutes.  Nevertheless, the Chicago bench is even more impressive with Brewer, Korver, Gibson, Watson and Asik.  Omer has really impressed me, he is battling on the boards and under the tutelage of Kurt Thomas is becoming a pretty decent backup 5 man.  Defense will be key tonight.  New Orleans gives up about 4-5 points on average on less than a day’s rest.  New Orleans is 5-7 on 0 days rest, losing more than a couple of those at home.  Chicago is a good team on multiple days rest but really strive when facing a fatigued team.  Chicago hold the best record in the NBA in terms of defeating fatigued teams,  they are an amazing 13-2 when facing teams on 0 days rest.  The Bulls are for real, once Joakim returns I really think this team could be right up there with Boston and Miami.  Though this might be a bit early to start backing them, I am officially on the red train to Illinois.
