Mak's Flight Time Friday

Sup gents, finished off 2009 with 0-2 night.  Too bad the year ended on a Thursday....I hate fucking Thursdays.  Flying to Las Vegas in a few hours.  Unfortunately am only going to be there for 24 hours and strictly for business.  Not even gonna get any time to gamble...pretty sad eh? May have to add more action to get my fix, only one for now.  Peace out guys and as always best of luck - - - MAK

ATLANTA HAWKS - 11.0 (-110) - - - Really like the Hawks tonight vs the Knickerbockers.  A lot of individuals will take the last match-up between these two teams into aspect and they really should not.  I remember that game clearly.  There were specific situations that caused the Knicks to win that game that will not be evident tonight.  The first is the ejection of Josh Smith very early in the game.  J Smooth is one guy who caused a lot of matchup problems for New York.  In their first meeting (where ATL beat NY by 13 in NY) Smith was 10-15 shooting with 22 points, 12 rebound, 4 assists, 2 steals and a block.  He was a beast and was sorely missed after being ejected.  Another situation that many of you will forget is the trade rumors surrounding Al Harrington at that exact time.  His name was being mentioned with Tyrus Thomas for a straight up trade the day before.  Harrington did not want to be traded and was very motivated and very forceful that game.  Surprisingly after that ... Mak's Two Thousand Ten Thursday

Sup fellas, been a great week so far profiting all 4 days.  On a 14-3-1 run and hoping it continues into the new year.  Hope you all have a fun night, get toasted and smashed but don't be a fuckin idiot and drive drunk.  2010 is gonna be a big year for us fellas, my new years resolution....as every year....make more money. Take it ez fellas, peace out and happy new year from your boy Mak.

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS + 3.0 (-115) - - - I really like the Sixers right now.  Even during their horrific losing streak there was something about the makeup of this team that really intrigued me.  With a full roster Eddie Jordan can implement a much more free-flowing offense and he has done that.  The emergence of Rodney Carney last game only makes this team deeper and better.  If he can hit threes and play defense the way he did vs Sacto then this team is stacked.  Green did not play vs Sac due to a sore ankle which allowed Rodney more minutes and he showcased.  I love the back-court of Lou Williams and Allen Iverson.  Many thought Lou Lou would come off the bench and provide backup PG minutes to A.I, however coach had different plans.  Placing Iggy at the 3 and Thaddeus at the 4 allows this team to really run.  They are # 2 in the league in fast break offense and will continue to run teams ragged with an athletic fast lineup like that.  Yes the Clippers are big with Camby & Kaman however don't sleep on the size and reb... Mak's Tuesday Terror

Hey fellas, got some time so thought I would finally provide something constructive to the forum today.  Sorry have not been providing the write-ups, will try and find the time from now on.  Been a profitable past 2 days, hoping to keep it going.  Best of luck gents.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER + 2.0 (-110) - - - Not only do the Thunder have the edge in roster match-ups, they are also in a slightly better situational spot.  Both teams off back to backs.  Washington is on a West to East flight off a hard fought OT loss.  Gilbert, Caron, Antawn and Haywood all played close to 50.  This team is 1-5 ATS when their starters combine for 160 minutes the game prior.  The Wiz are just not getting it together. Granted they have had some horrible luck with injuries and close losses, but this team's identity is molded already and they will continue to struggle.  The Thunder in my opinion are the most promising young team in the NBA.  An amazing under-rated trade that many do not know about was made just a week ago.  Eric Maynor a young rookie point guard was brought in for basically nothing.  He is another young stud on a roster brimming with potential.  Maynor allows James "Osama Bin" Harden to play the slashing SG role off the bench which I think will suit him well.  He has one of the best groomed beards I have ever seen and this Osam... Mak's Monday Mortal Kombat

Sup gents, a nice Sunday pocketing close to 20 units from the fat man.  Only got one today.  Got a fight between Liu Kang (Monta Ellis) VS Scorpion (Kevin Durant) :)  As always wishing you guys the best of luck.  - - - MAK

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER - 5.0 (-130) - - - No longer the Oklahoma Shitty.  This team has pride and potential.  Pride is evident when a team is 8-0 ATS after a loss.  They are 6-2 SU and seem to really show up after a poor effort.  This situational spot mirrors the Heat's spot last night.  OKC has 4 days before their next game and I am certain they do not want a loss looming over their heads.  Combined with the fact they are coming off a loss I am certain they win this game outright.  The Golden State Warriors are getting a little bit too much respect in terms of this line.  Warriors are NOT a good road team and I actually think by the end of the season they could contend for the worst road record in the league.  They got lucky in their 2 wins on the road vs New York shooting 60% from the field early in the season and against Dallas surprising a lack-luster team with minimal effort and thus a fluke win with a 6 man rotation.  Tonight they might try to use their speed and agility against OKC by continuing their ridiculous 3 guard rotation.  Monta Ellis, Curry and C.J Watson are 3 fuckin point guards and should not be on the floor at the same time.  Yet I suspect they start.... Mak's Monetary Monday

Another mediocre 2-2 Sunday.  Save by the juice.  Mediocre is still better then a slump and I will take it...for now.  Hoping to get that mojo working tonight with 2 winners.  Best of luck gentlemen.

INDIANA PACERS + 2.5 (-110) - - - This Indy roster is stacked with a lot of talent.  Each individual player has specific attributes that are key to a successful team.  The only problem with a heavy rotation like this is trying to find an identity.  I think the coaching staff is finding it very hard to find a rotation but as soon as they set a steady rotation and concept this team is gonna make some noise.  They have five legitimate big men who an play that 4/5 spot and rebound and defend.  It is a rarity for a team to have three of four of those type of men let alone five.  Foster, Tyler and Solomon all come off the bench and add some major size.  Hibbert and Troy are a legit starting PF and C.  Versatile players like Earl Watson and Dahntay Jones can defend their positions very well and if they provide any type of consistent offense this team is difficult to beat.  T.J Ford and Brandon Rush continue to get that backcourt starting spots but I do eventually see Rush losing that spot.  The return of Mike Dunleavy only makes this team deeper and more deadly.  He seems like he still has a hell of a shot and if he can legitimize himself as the second scorer behind Granger this team can build that identit... Mak's Toonie Tuesday

Evened out last night, still on a nice run.  Still got a little swag and confidence when capping...that is until the NBA bitch-slaps it off me.  Capped two tonight, feel good about em.  Best of luck fellas.

CHICAGO BULLS + 1 (-110) - - - So it's quite obvious we under-estimated the Sac roster.  I am still not high on Evans just yet.  He just seems like a hit or miss rook.  With experience I am sure he will blossom.  Now despite the fact that Sacto has played some very poised basketball as of late, it doesn't mean everyone should be raising the banner just yet.  I think the public and vegas is a little bit too high on this team right now.  Granted they are no longer the queens and teams know that heading into Arco they cannot underestimate the Kings anymore.  That is gonna mean problems for this Sac team.  If you dissect their last 3 home wins it is not as impressive as you think.  First a win over GS in a game that consisted of no defense at all.  Then a win over a OKC team that shot 38% as Durant and Westbrook shot horrific.  Finally a win over a Houston team that missed 21 three point shots.  Chi Town is a different test, different caliber.  Remember guys this is the return of John Salmons and Brad Miller to Arco Arena.  Brad Miller a huge fan favorite and should get a very warm welcome.  I think both play well tonight especially Salmons.  Playing small ball Jason Thompson ... NBA Is Back And So Is Mak

Ladies and gentlemen, been itching to get back to an other NBA season.  I know I said I would retire after last year but after a very profitable season I just can't say no.  Love the game but the love for the money is even greater.  Am glad to be back and look forward to being a consistent NBA capper and hope the same ol' ballers show up here once the pre-season is done.

Still a chance to make a little dough in pre-season, been betting very low wages just trying to get a feel for it once again.  I am 8-3 on wagers in the pre-season and starting today will begin posting my picks.

You all know Mak is a big NBA guy, that is all I know and after a very profitable playoffs and season my confidence is at an all time high.  I am capping with clarity and a new sense of money management, hoping this year is gonna be huge.  Been keeping up to date on all transaction, roster movements and player improvements.  Few thoughts on some teams to watch below.

Teams To Ride ATS This Season - - -

Boston Celtics - - - Hell they were a huge money train for whomever rode their backs all the way to the finals, with the acquisition of big man O'bryant and losing Posey, this team balances out and is my pick to repeat as Champs.  Ride em ATS this season as they will blow out teams.

Los Angeles Lakers - - - Bynum, Gasol and Kobe are as formidable a 3 threat as any in the league.  This team will dominate this season.
