From take TEXAS +50 to +75 before the big money knocks it down too much. Tru odds: Bama -1.5. Anything over +25 is a positive expectation. Check out my site tomorrow: giving all picks away free for the next little while!

Not much movement on Als

Still 9 or 9.5 on MTL @ TOR. We may see a 10 for a middle but I have this one as a freebie on my website all week: Right now just lay it as a stronger-than-average play (1.5 stars w/ 1 star as a base play). By the way, any capper who uses a star system to rate their plays who doesn't use 1 star as their base play is trying to fudge their record (make it seem more impressive in terms of total stars ahead instead of %ROI). Calvillo and Cobourne are actually sitting (plus a few others) but the key to this play is no motivation for TO playing out the string under a lame duck they don't care about.

Greek just opened MTL -9. Lay it as it's goin nowhere but up. Check out for my freebie of the week. Also an aeticle on key #'s in football.

Sorry to have missed a huge chunk of the season but I've been busy setting up a website:
I will have NFL and CFL on there and I'll get back to doing the weekly rap here.

Another inflated spread

Take HAM+7.5. Similar to my game of the year Wk6. Rd Dog won 1st matchup Hm. ED should only be 4 here even if Lloyd plays and Floyd doesn't. Seen HAM+275 but will take the best valu play w/ pts. HAM 9-1 ATS v ED.

Real early moves on WPG+9 and TO+3 at greek (1st hour). Anybody know much on Cody Pickett? Did he play 4 TN Vols? A very unknown quantity at this pt. I would have loved WPG+10 but I don't think we'll see it now.

Here it comes folks! It's upon us early in WK6 TY. And it's a textbook illustration of why sports is a beatable proposition. The absolute max # on CGY should be -7.5. But we see twice that. The YPP say 26-22 and they are based on a large enuf sample of 5 games, including WPG's Hm W by 42-30 a month ago. Throw in 3 more pts for CGY"s not-too-imposing 1-2 Hm mark TY if u want to. Why was the sendout 13.5? Why will it close maybe 15? Cuz the linemaker is forced to depart from relevant #'s to keep people off the HmFav. CGY is defending champ (that was then, this is now). WPG has not won here last 6 tries (again, TWT,TIN). Shabazz is out for WPG, but so are Rambo and Thelwell, a wash. But those extra 7-10 pts of valu on the dog are the most real things we're dealin' w/ here, and these types of situations, when recognized, are why sports betting is not a game of chance.

Amazing wk 5! Like it was tailored exclusively for wiseguys! All 4 go ML Dog and UN. A 4 teamer on the money line was over 100-1!
There are lots of +14.5's on WPG . Haven't seen a ML. The LVSC sendout was 13.5 so that's valu on a team that won by 12 at home.

TO UN47 (buying pts)
SK +10
YPP say TO 24-23, CGY 36-27. The Bishop factor doesn't help WPG so I look 4 an instant replay of LWk. Double-digit dogs are 3-0 TY.

Week 4 Rap and Week 5 Openers

HAM(54,56.5) 8 @ MTL(-14,-15.5) 21   RU,UN TO(50,51.5) 19 @ WPG(-3,-5) 5           RU,UN CGY(-1,-3.5) 48 @ BC(57,60) 10          RF,UN ED(53,55) 38 @ SK(-2.5,-6) 33            RU,OV   Fav 6-10  HF 3-8  RF 3-2 OV 8-8     WK 5   MTL(-4.5,-6.5) @  ED(55.5,53.5) BC(-3,-2) @ HAM(51.5,50.5) WPG(48.5,44.5) @ TO(-6.5,-5.5) SK(59.5,61.5) @ CGY(-7.5,-10)   Does anybody play w/ Sports Interaction? What is their deal anyway? Do they have their own guy trying to be first out? They're in MTL, owned by Kahnawake Gaming. Do they also own Canbet or any other books? Have they been trying to open on Sun. nites? When I check them on Mon. P.M. they have some weird #'s up w/ a lot of closed signs next to them. It' s like they try to float some trial balloons and then yank them down when they realize how far off they are. WK 5 they had the CGY total at 52.5 (7 off) and TO 48.5 (2 higher than the opener at Hard Rock LV). CGY-10 was the highest I saw (which got knocked back to 9.5). I've always thought they were a mostly public book w/ good prices generally on dogs and unders. Maybe because they're in Canada they are trying to establish a rep as industry leaders w/ respect to CFL betting. If so could be some tasty #'s there early. I will definitely scrutinize them next... Double Blue UN; BC Lions roar

YPP says WPG 29-25. I just think Argos thinness at receiver and the Bruce kerfuffle will negatively affect the O more and probably lead to more of a run game, which combined w/ Lefors' inconsistency will keep it UN. Try to get UN 52 if u c it. Best I saw was 51.5.
YPP: BC31-30. LV send-out was CGY-1. Coin flip: BC+3.5 is a great valu play. Wouldn't mind seeing Jarious come off the bench again .

SK @ TO : dog and UN

Last nite's lesson: nothing wrong w/ taking the value. Sometimes it'll put u on a winner! Tho don't ask me WTF last nite was all about! Pierce is killin' BC w/ picks. Today we have heavy thunderstorms and 23 mph winds so SK+3.5 and UN 53.5 should be parlayed but do it quick as total will drop rite up to gametime. 2.5 edge w/ SK off opener but don/t give too much back w/ total. If u can get UN 51 great.

Als up to +6.5!!!

Marc Bryan Jacob: new shooter comin' out on pro football this season. I like both dogs on Canada Day. Hamilton +2 (if you can still get it) would be the play but think ML if you can only get 1. Andrus will have the normal problems of an NFL guy adapting. As of suppertime Tuesday Montreal was +6.5 at pinbet. That is tremendous value off of 3.5 and this doesn't look like a sharp move as the line has been out several days. Als could have the motivation.
