Vandy is just 1-5 vs the spread last 6 games vs mid amer. conf opponents...vandy has lost their entire starting offensive line along with stud receiver Earl Bennett and will start this season off with a very inexperienced team...head coach Bobby Johnson has a career record of 0-7 vs the spread as an underdog of 5 or less points....the Redhawks are returning 17 starters and look like the team to beat in the Mac.....take Miami-Ohio -3.5 for another best bet trend winner

How is Vandy SU? and what were the spreads when they went "just 1-5 vs the spread last 6 games vs mid amer. conf opponents"?

Not trying to be pugilistic, I just know from experience not to blindly trust trends like this. It's best to know what the conditions were that caused the trend, such as: were they 10 pt fav's? or did they go 6-0 SU, but 1-5 ATS? These things matter given the fact that today they are dogs catching 4.

I would still like to know what the spreads were, who they were playing and when these games were. I don't think Vandy plays the MAC all that much, which leads me to believe these stats could date back to the 80's. In that case, they don't hold much water with me.
