10. Kansas 4-8
Gill out Weis in. Never made a lot of sense that Gill would go to Kansas. Wouldn't it be just like Weis to win at Kansas and not Notre Dame? Started 2-0 LY and crapped the bed the rest of the way. Dayne Crist will start this year Jake Heaps from BYU will start next year.. They've given up at least 350 yards in 19 consecutive big 12 games. I see a 3-1 start. LY worst defense in country giving up 43.8 ppg that will have to change
9. Iowa State 4-8
-11 in turnover ratio LY. Steele Jantz will start this year as he should. He made me a nice chunk of change LY They beat Oklahoma State LY to be bowl eligible. I think Rhoads has turned the corner but i can't pick them to win more than 4
8. Baylor 6-6
as my man boom boom said in his thread Baylor fans before RG3 this would have been a great season. I just think they beat the teams they're supposed to beat.And get to a bowl getting the extra practices. I wonder if Briles will seek greener pastures? Beat who you're supposed to beat and get ready for next year
7. Texas Texh 7-5
my man txtechpika says no bowl for the Red Raiders but i see a bowl. Poor guy has had a rough year. LY of the top 25 offenses in the country 24 were bowl eligible 1 wasn't. That was Texas Tech. Defense has been a problem since Ruffin McNeill went to East Carolina to be the head coach. After they beat Oklahoma they acted like they won the national title. They didn't win another game! I see a 4-0 start for Tech
LY they had the worst run D in country. But they have Seth Doege who had a nice year. 1 big 12 assistant coach said Tuberville changes d coordinators like he changes his socks Its a big year for Tommy T and i see a bowl for Tech
6. Kansas State 7-5
This pains me because since Coach Snyder came back K-State has made me a ton of cash! Collin Klein is the man he's a beast! +12 in turnover ratio LY. I see a little step back for K-State this year
5. TCU 8-4
Welcome back to big boy football TCU. Pachall has a ton of problems. 26 games in a row scoring 21 pts or more. I see a 7-0 start and could finish 7-5 but i see them finishing 8-4. I wonder if Patterson leaves for next year.
4. West Virginia 8-4
Holgorsen is a lot like Mike Leach anyone knows me knows that's not a compliment. 13 in a row scoring 21 pts or more. Geno smith is a really good but sometimes its like his mind is in another place. I think they're in for a bit of a rude awakening in the big 12
3. Oklahoma State 9-3
I'm done doubting Coach Gundy. After Robinson left i thought they'd fall off. He's a man he's 40 he's a winner and a point spread covering machine.. Gundy 48-33-3 ATS 26 games in a row scoring 24 or more points. I know they lose Weeden and Blackmon. But i think Wes Lunt wil pick up where weeden leaves off but I'm done doubting Gundy
2. Texas 10-2
I think the good ol boys are gonna do their damndest to run Mack out go ahead. Find a better coach.. I see them losing to Oklahoma and pick another 1. I'd rather see Case mccoy than David Ash myself because Case made me money LY Mack says they'll wina title in the next 2-3 years. Will see about that but how about a 10 win season this year.
1. Oklahoma 11-1
Pick a game they'll lose. Stoops will blow 1. Landry is back plus the Belldozer. I know Broyles is gone but i see Landry's numbers falling off a tad with more Belldozer plays. Only play 2 games outside of Texas and Oklahoma. Mike stoops is back as DC. Last couple years i've predicted them high and they've let me down. Oklahoma 1 of my picks to be in the national title game
Final thoughts..
With the College football playoff coming in 2014 the Big 12 will have to add 2 more teams as 5/6 bcs conferences will have a conference title game. The other conferences will force the big 12 to you know go to 12! A ton of great offense in this league a lot of high scoring football. Fun league to watch. They could have 7 of the top 30-40 offenses in the country. Big 12 2nd best league in the country
