Ok seems that the covers nation is on Atlanta and the under??

Makes no sense to me. Granted thatthere is a big number here with NO-12 and 55. Let me ask why would anyone step in front of this New Orleans super offense and play Atlanta dirty birds?

New orleans has been a offensive super power covering ats in every game this season. After what they showed last week coming back and not only beating Miami but also covering the spread, why would anyone think that at home under the monday night lights would be a good time to fade the,?

And for all the under backers COMON MAN. Why would all of a sudden these teams not put up enough points? If Atlanta has any chance of covering or winning outright they will have to put up at least 28 points. The Atlanta secondary has no chance of keeping Brees and company under 35 points. Imo 35points will be up by halftime for the Saints and maybe 14 for Atlanta.

There is no way i can comfortablly put my money against New Orleans and their weapons under the Monday Night Lights at home

12 points is a HUGE line in the NFL.

Usually only the bottom teams ever get double digit points in an NFL game.

favoring NO by 12 points this game is giving them a tremendous amount of respect.

I think some people here are respecting the 12 points a little bit more.

Im gonna roll witht he saints, but this is NFl, and Atlanta has moments where they look unstoppable on offense as well, you never know. This isnt the saints vrs the browns or bills, or raiders, or lions, or rams, this Atlanta team is a good team.

gamblingallday i absolutely hear you but the factors that put me on the saints laying th HUGE number in -12 are as follows (just my humble opinion)

1 Saints super offense

2 Monday night lights

3 Drew Brees

4 Home field....that crowd will be on fire!!!!

5 The way they came back and rolled miami--momentun

6 Chance to have undefeated season

7 Drew Brees again

8 Division foe---theyre not gonna let off the gas if they get up early look for them to keep going

9 They know their not getting respect and wanna "show off on MNF"

10. Drew Brees again!!!

The reason people are backing off that spread is because a lot of people lost big on the Indy game. This team is so focused and i have been a Saints fan since I could remember. I think the linesmakers have given too much respect to the Saints this week by opening the line at 10.5 and not 9. Yes they dominated the Giants couple weeks ago but prior to that, it was a pretty close game against the Jets, close game against the Bills on the road and nearly lost to the Dolphins. If it was because Dallas blew out Atlanta in the 2nd qtr of last week's game, I expect the line to open around 7.5 and not 10.5

Yea people on covers are on Atlanta, however, the general population is "all over" NO.

I've looked into this and found covers has performed better than the general population, I would side with covers over the genEral population.

For one, people here on covers understand 12 pts is just way to much to give-up to another good team, the general population doesn't, they just foolishly back the flavor of the month, which happens to be NO.

Atlanta has a very good chance to win outright tonight and probally will.

Saints is the correct play here.

If the Saints going to lose a game or not cover, it won't be on MNF.

I never said it would be easy. But if I have to choose a side. I'm saying NO will win by 12+. You're saying the opposite.

What kind of insight have you given other than mock anyone who is on the other side of you? There's a good chance NO doesn't cover this line. But I think the chances are better they do. Simple as that. I'm not laughing at you for thinking otherwise.

LBC weasie you are too much. Im simply stating as stated above the saints with Brees and those weapons under the MONDAY NIGHT LIGHTS at home will cover.

I couldnt have said it better than jmone. They have beat every oppenent by 12 or more so why not again at HOME on MNF for their fans!! They will not let up. They are trying to have a perfect season and that weasie is enough for me.

I agree, for a few simple reasons

Atlanta 27th against the pass, 21st against the rush, up against Saints O on a Monday night at home. Better believe Saints will take this game by 2 touchdowns or more. I also like over 55, saints could hit that number themselves.
