Jim Harbaugh is a jerk. Everyone knows this as well. From Pete Carroll, to Alex Smith, to the Lions Coaching Staff and many others he has rubbed the wrong way. But, Harbaugh is a winner. This is a guy that played from 1987 to 2000 which is a far cry to how long quarterbacks last in the league today. In all but 1987 his rookie season he started at least a game and in all about 1 season of that he started at least 5 games. He then becomes an assistant coach, then takes the University of San Diego to a 11-1 overall record, goes to Stanford and upends a program that was mediocre at best to a perennial powerhouse now beating USC on a regular basis. He didn't just help Stanford beat USC, he crushed USC on a regular basis and this includes being a 40 point underdog with a quarterback that was essentially not even on the roster and took them on the road to USC and wins that game Outright. What Harbaugh has accomplished is nothing short of phenomenal. Then he comes into the league in his first year with the Niners and leads them to the playoffs going 13-3 in the first year and the team currently is 11-4-1 this year and sits ready to play in the Super Bowl on Sunday after defeating the Falcons cutting a 17 point deficit. This team has a no-quit attitude. But, why talk so much about Harbaugh? Because this Niners team most valuable asset is Jim Harbaugh. This team would be nothing without him and this team is everything with him. From shoring up the defense, to bringing a veteran in Moss... [More]

San Francisco 49ers the best team in football since way back in week three of this season. Keep in mind this was long before they made the big switch at quarterback and since then they have went to an even higher level this year. The Niners can beat you in so many ways as they have easily the best offensive line in the NFL and can run the ball down your throats. They also have an up and coming star quarterback who has the ability to beat you not only with his legs but with a cannon for an arm and who is also extremely accurate as well. For as good as their offense has been this season it's still the 49ers defense that has been the strength and identity of this team these last few season's. San Francisco plays a very physical style of defense that shuts down the opponent's run game. Go up and down their roster and you see a pro bowl performer this year at the running back spot with Gore, and two offensive lineman. On defense three of their linebackers were voted in along with one other front seven player and both safety's as well for over half of their starting defense. All added together and that's a league leading nine players in all elected to go to the Pro-Bowl from San Francisco. The bottom line is this team is loaded with talent all over the field.
