I have a son that my girlfriend is carrying right now and she is due on January 25 2010. I am very excited and nervous to be a father. I just want to be able to be there for my son when he grows up through the years more then my father was for me.

I love to give to, I am a sucker for giving. If I have extra money in my pocket it is always going to someone that doesnt havent in theres. Whether it be a friend who is short money for lunch or to go out somewhere. Or a salavtion army jingeler or a person on the side of the road asking for change or donations somewhere at a fast food restaurant, I always seem to give what I have available to me.
You know someone I cannot stand though is this, when a person is doing for themselves and everyone around them friends and families act like your best friend and is always appreciative of a hand out or giving or helping out, but when that same person isnt doing well and might be struggling those same people or maybe a few of those friends or family are not there anymore because your struggling and are not well off like you used to be.
Thats one thing that really bothers me. Friends and family should be there for each other all the time no matter if your rich or poor or doing good or struggling for a certain time.
Just wanted to share my thoughts as reading what you said got me thinking!
