Why do the Rangers always screw me???

No I didn't bet on the Devils tonight but I have a pretty decent wager on them to win the Atlantic Division and obviously every point is key. With the way the standings are right now, the Rangers would need an ABSOLUTE MIRACLE to make the playoffs, so I really didn't feel bad rooting against them. If they had a realistic chance, I would surely root for them over my bet but they don't.

Watching this team over the years is frustrating to say the least. They NEVER EVER play with heart, ESPECIALLY when they are down at the end of the game, and ESPECIALLY vs the Devils.

Fast forward to tonight. I am rooting against them for once, and what happens? Drury ties it with 15 seconds left and they win in a shootout. This shit NEVER HAPPENS when I want them to win (every night besides tonight)

Go figure the one game this team decides to show some heart, is when I want them to lose.

I think the rags have a great shot because of Philly.

They are 5 pts back with 8 to go but they finish the year with a b2b vs the flyers.

So they only need to gain 2 pts on Philly in the next 6 games to give them control of their destiny!

Theyll just have to do it on the road with only 1 home game and 5 road games!

Tough but very possible if King henrik gets hot!

I HATE the damn Rangers and their overpaid Wall Street Weasel crook fans. my WORST nightmare is that either the Flyers or Bruins will fade and they sneak into the playoffs. IF that happens, I sure hope they get the 8th spot and have to play the Capitals BUT IF Lundqvist gets HOT....

what a beauty game that was last night. im actually liking the rangers chances of getting in considering their sched compared to boston and ATL. boston and philly have both been struggling a lot as of late. i have a bias as a big rangers fan, but i definately agree they dont play with much heart at all. the king can only do so much for them.

rangers are as hot as cold as it gets, they played so shitty the past few games before this week. i bet on the isles (against the rags) on weds night and we all know what happened there.

also i would love to see the caps/rangers playoff rematch this year. you gotta think that the blueshirts would want some revenge after blowing that 3-1 series lead.

big rangers fan here.  rangers are so inconsistent this year.  show

signs of being really good, then lose to teams they should beat.  they

can hang with the big boys in the league, i just don't know about them

winning a 7 game series.  maybe they will win 7 out of their last 8

games and get in the playoffs?  lets see which rangers team shows up

tonight in toronto.  sucks about boston winning today but at least the

flyers lost and the rangers still play them twice.

that's probably +4 points for sure the way the Flyers are playing and esp without a goaltender. IF they can't beat the Bugs and Panty Cats their next two, they don't deserve to make the playoffs

They won't and they don't and as a fan why the fuck would I want to watch Ovechkin and company take up target practice on Brian Boucher...That is a terrifying thought....My instincts after decades of watching make me want to cheer bur I honeslty, quietly want them to stay out, hard to say it but it's true, why 4 games of sheer embarrassment? No thanks I will pass....I want Atlanta to get in and give the Caps a hard time plus we can all just hit the overs the whole series...
