Womens Basketball...

 I'm riding this train until they lose, if they lose? I Won $6,500 on Saturday when I bet Baylor  ML +450 when they upset  powerhouse Tennessee. Riding them again tonight vs. Duke!

I really hope Baylor gets to face Uconn  because I know Uconn will be heavy favorites and I will make my largest bet of the year on Baylor in that game.

1) the woman's game, while technical, is just brutal to watch.

annoucers loving her game..nothing wrong with that..best on the court..but i agree it is brutal to watch..This is my first NCAA womens bball game that i have watched and have seen plenty of missed shots already..My question to the forum is, How often do unders hit???

U honestly think this Baylor team can hang with UConn?  If Baylor misses easy buckets like they did tonight, UConn will run them out of the gym.

I think they can next year or the year after when Griner gets a little older, bigger and stronger... also when Baylor adds tons of top recruits who want to play with Griner.  But I am not so sure about this year as I agree that UCON has a strong outside shooting game where they don't even have to come down low if they don't.  Plus my guess is that Tina Charles will have a thing or two for Griner.  I would put the line at -17 or so.  BOL!

I know Griner is a once in a lifetime player, but she is raw and the pure athletic talent of UConn might be too much for her.  I haven't followed these teams all year, but I've seen the last 4 games of each of these teams.  Maybe i'm wrong, but this is my first impression of this match up!

If you honestly like Baylor then my advise to you is to wait until the very last minute to bet it as I am sure the public would pound UCON no matter what the line.  BOL!

There is no shame on betting woman's basketball. A gambler's job is to spot a mismatch or an edge against the spread. The gender of the athlete is irrelevent.

I would bet on two cockroaches in a race as long as I'm the right side of the cockroach.

I honestly do. Brittnany Griner is a once in a lifetime player. Uconn will not be able to drive to the hoop with here clogging up the middle, blocking shots and altering shots. If Uconn is somewhat off from the outside this will be a close game. Also this will be like a home game for Baylor as it will be very close to home! Remember Baylor was +10 point underdogs vs. Tennessee and people thought they had no chance in that game! I agree though that Baylor has to play a little better that they did last night which I think they will. I'm guessing Uconn will be giving somewhere around 15  points. I will take that all day!!! I'm not sure about that? I think the opening line is the time to pound because I think the oddsmakers will open the line big because they know the public loves Uconn and I think the late money will be on Baylor? You could be right but I think I'm diving in on the opening line. Best of luck!
