Getting late in the month, guys --

Yesterday's favorite picks did okay --

Giants win was ugly -- Tampa Rays failed to cover --

System 13-6 now, + 7.3 (remember, we do not endorse or oppose this, but do report on it knowing some are interested) --

and so now it's on to Wednesday...

So far my fave is Texas....

I also rather like St. Louis (though you'll need a site that offers alternate runlines -- they're actually a dog) which I'd think would be +180 or so at -1 1/2; also Colorado (again);  and the Phillies.

Like to look at these more, but they strike me so far...

Stay thirsty, my friends.

Think i'm going to join these discussions, i play lots of runlines and that is how i have won most of my money in baseball this year.  Big favs with strong pitchers (usually @ home), with RL's.

Have been reading this discussion for a while and normally agree with the consensus, for example last night I played SF, TB and NYY.

Tonight I like Det, but @ -140 just thinking about it, normally like them under -120.
Also like Col on the road, and going to try TB again, those are my games to look, normally place bets between 5-6pm

Tigers, Rays are my favorites. Snell hasn't pitched well in the majors, despite ripping AAA apart. Verlander is a much better pitcher at home.

Niemann vs. Tillman is interesting. Niemann's battled all year. Tillman's still trying to figure stuff out, although his last outing was pretty good. I think the play here is either TB RL or BAL. Tehre's definitely value on BAL, but the TB RL isn't a bad play.

Wainwright split stats:
Home: 98 IP 2.02 ERA/1.14 WHIP/.225 BAA
Away: 74 IP 3.41 ERA/1.43 WHIP/.283 BAA

Splits are similar over his entire career. I think he's usually one who is overvalued away from home. Not to say he isn't good, but he's so money pitching at Busch. I actually think LAD -1 wouldn't be a bad play. Should be low scoring, but Clayton can certainly deal.

Take a look at TOR -1 as well...Doc can obviously deal.

I see the argument on PHI and COL, too.

2-1 R/L plays yesterday, (NYY, TB, PHI), and we're running them back again and adding ATL today

PHI +130, 6 out last 7 wins, Cliff Lee, AZ lost 4 out of 6, 3 in a row, Harens last 2 starts O.T.R. vs Mets, Nats', 13 IP, 15 hits, 10 ER'S

ATL -115, JJ on the mound, don't be mislead by recent #'s, 2 tuff' outings vs LAD, who just seem to have his #, excellent last time out vs PHI, tho' ATL lost (3-2), this guy can pitch. Parnell for NYM relief pitcher picking up their rotation slack, Mets got all their hits last night

NYY +125, hard to get this on Yanks R/L, Gaudin will probably give up some runs, Anderson for A's has been tuff @ home but bad against the Yanks in 2 starts this year, 2 A's losses, 8-3, 9-7, and has given up 18 hits in 11 INN. and 9 ER's. Can see some runs tonite, clearly favoring the Yanks'.

TB-115, Niemann's been TB's best starting pitcher this year, 4-2 @ home ERA under 3. 6 of last 8 starts O.T.R. including last 2 @SEA, @ LAA, where the RAYZ' couldn't win if you brought Koufax out of retirement (meaning the west coast). Tillman ERA near 5 O.T.R, high walk totals and doesn't get alot of strikeouts. Rayz' will put the bat on the ball and with their team speed make things happen. Bartlett, their best hitter this year, and clutch, over .400 RISP, sat out last night (rest), back today. BAL can hit, so I expect some runs here, but so can the Rayz', and they can run too...

Good Luck to all!!!
