I took a week off, which no lie turned out to be a good week for me.  Not lying, just have better things to do like work, go to school, and having a life.  Well its a slow week again, so posting some more picks.  I always enjoy this cause if someone rips my pick apart and actually has a well thought out argument I learn something.  The ones who contribute terrible arguments against solidify my points and make me feel good. Here is the week 6 picks though.

Baltimore+3
I'm obviously a Favre hater, but I still don't see why this team is considered better than Baltimore.  Minnesota strikes me as the college football team that plays a bad schedule and looks good because of it.   Given the records of the AFC North opponents, this game is an absolute must for the Ravens.  The Ravens have the weapons out of the backfield to neutralize the aggressive defensive line of the Vikings.  Also add the fact Baltimore can handle AP, and won't have to overly commit to the run, the Vikings will have a hard time throwing against this defense.  I think Favre will be on his back a few times this game, and Ed Reed will make a play that turns the game.

New Orleans -3
Has anyone else noticed that New Orleans can run the ball and play stellar defense this year?  The Saints actually have a legitimate defense this year,  and they blitz very well, which I think will cause Eli Manning some problems.  The Saints will probably be able to exploit some mismatches with Reggie Bush, and this is a statement game for New Orleans.

Seattle -3
The Seahawks with Matt Hasselbeck at QB are still a dangerous team.  It has been a while since we have to consierr that, but Seattle has one of the few homefield advantages left in the pros.

San Diego -4
I know this Denver team is different, but San Diego has still generally performed well against the Broncos.  Throw in the factor the Chargers are coming off a  bye week, and this game is their only chance of salvaging the season,  I look for Philip Rivers to throw his way to a winning performance.

Also like the unders in the BAL/MIN game and NO/NYG game.

Week 4: 3-1
Season: 5-3

Like the picks except the Baltimore +3.0. AP is too good when he's needed, which hasnt happened this year yet. Just saying MIN has options and the pressure of good D will not translate into many TO [maybe 1 or 2]. Old man looks solid this year and doesnt have to rush if he doesnt have to.That puts pressure on BAL offense which will have to put up points on the road ... I personally teased MIN to +10.5 which is an absolute lock for me.
