We all have friends or co workers that think they know everything and declare random conclusions 100% correct. Yes they are annoying at times....no wait, all the time.

The question: In baseball you have a broadcast crew with two guys, color and play by play.
Which one of them makes more money? My immediate thought and rational is the play by play man but I say that in a humble tone. "Know it all" says by far the color commentator draws the bigger paycheck.

I believe that to be steaming horseshit. Would I be wrong? I'd like to prove it.
Thanks for your time.

if your talking in the same market like baseball.. play by play makes by far more then the color commentator. The color commentator generally is someone starting out in the field like an ex player or ex coach. they know little bits of information that are interesting to the viewer. the play by play gets no script he or she is clearly on their own talking pretty much non stop.. the color guy or girl has information sometimes given to him or her prior to the event making their job easy. i think an average paycheck for a baseball commentator is around 600k to 3 million.. on average the play by play make way more..

sorry i rambled on if i find some concrete evidence i will post it shortly.
