Is Jim Bunning a hero or goat?

My two cents: I am amazed that he is the lone voice saying "how are we going to pay for that?"
Remember, democrats are the ones that professed "pay-as-you-go" legislation. Even his own party in his own state has alienated him.
He's only stepping out because he's not running for reelection. Think about it. We have to manage our budgets in the household. Our localities, our cities, our counties, our states, our local businesses have to manage our budgets. We can't operate in deficits year after year. Why can the federal government?
Do you think he'd be the only one if others didn't have to worry about getting reelected?

Find out who's up for election in your congressional district and get them to take a position on this. Most incumbents voted for this, so consider voting for someone other than one with a prohibitionist stance.
RISE UP PEOPLE!!! I know its football season and there's lots of games to study. But to reverse the government's attacks on personal liberty, a movement must take place.
Go to congress.org, type in your zip code and go!!!

characteristic of a fascist government. The law has backfired, running
legitimate businesses out of the United States market and widening the breeding
ground for less reputable organizations – the exact opposite of the purported
intention (aside from appeasing Vegas donors).
The existing legislation is an inappropriate interference on
the personal freedom of Americans and this interference should be undone.
