TERM LIMITS for all IN CONGRESS!!!

Is Jim Bunning a hero or goat?

in case you need a refresher:

My two cents: I am amazed that he is the lone voice saying "how are we going to pay for that?"

Remember, democrats are the ones that professed "pay-as-you-go" legislation. Even his own party in his own state has alienated him.
He's only stepping out because he's not running for reelection. Think about it. We have to manage our budgets in the household. Our localities, our cities, our counties, our states, our local businesses have to manage our budgets. We can't operate in deficits year after year. Why can the federal government?

Do you think he'd be the only one if others didn't have to worry about getting reelected?

The law has backfired, running legitimate businesses out of the United States market and widening the breeding ground for less reputable organizations – the exact opposite of the purported intention (aside from appeasing Vegas donors).

The existing legislation is an inappropriate interference on the personal freedom of Americans and this interference should be undone. Furthermore, this legisla... [More]
