12-7 NHL YTD 6-4 AHL 0-1 parlays
Just chilling here in Toronto visiting family. Might say a Jays game or two. Been a while with my picks, a lot of coin flipping with this stuff of late. Didn't see Philly beating Habs and Rangers back to back! Just a few picks tonight. Still doing research on Habs/Pens, but might be leaning to the total.
Blue Jackets +141 - Going with value. All aboard Bobrovsky and the Jackets to get in the playoffs.
Red Wings -152 - Just can't back Calgary, even though they get these occasional wins at home. Red Wings need the points. They don't want to lay an egg versus a team like the Flames.

I know Buffalo is pathetic, but man, Habs playing firewagon hockey! What is scary is that this team is a lot better than the 2010 team that wen to the 3rd round with Halak.

Typing this as a fire alarm is going down in my building. Hoping these picks are hot! Noticing this time of year a lot of unders are cashing. Hate playing them though. Have a parlay and an AHL pick.
Blue Jackets +115 - Sharks are crap on the road. Blue Jackets play good, stingy hockey at home. Taking a chance, but Sharks away from Shark tank should not be having juice.
Blues -125 - Blues are one of the best road teams I bet on. Always seems to give a good effort.
Bridgeport(AHL) -Worcester playing god awful hockey 1-7-2-0. Bridgeport is 5-4-0-1.
Dog parlay Was +137, Buf +137, Phi +113. Won a few of these last year, worth a shot with these teams and the standings.

Been cold this week. Very frustrated. Going with only 2-3 plays tonight.
Yotes/Blowjackets under 5.5 - Columbus starting to look like the defensive squad Hitchcock used to coach. I see this as a defensive game.
Blues - Blues have turned it around of late, a real test versus Ducks. Putting a small play this goes past regulation too.
Let's get this pape!

That's hockey for ya! No picks last night, too upset over my 1-2 night previous. Both totals were ruined by one goal! Get em back today. I was asked what kind of capper I am, some people just pick favorites and while I do that, sometimes I bet sharp when the value is too good to pass up.
Pens/Leafs over 6 - You know the drill, red light should be going strong with the NHL's most explosive offence.
Yotes/Blues - to go to OT. As long as Mike Smith is in nets, will go with this.
Preds + 137 - Too much value the way they have picked it up of late. No idea what's up with the Canucks, but not playing well enough for my money.
Isles +112 - Isles have a better road record than Bolts home record. Bolts are going to miss the playoffs methinks.
Let's get this paper. Anyone know where Lance Logan is? Been a while.
Other plays I am thinking of are Bruins PL(haven't played one yet) and maybe Isles/Bolts over 6.

Not posting nearly enough, going to get on a roll soon. Had a little on Boston last night, nice team to bet on. Have a few picks tonight, in the AHL too.
Panthers/Bolts over 5.5 - Not impressed with either goalie on each side, starters or backups. Bolts are due for a win. I see this as a 4-2 kind of game. In Stamkos we trust.
Ducks +101 - Ducks at + money is a gift. Minny's good home record responsible for this, but really like the Ducks here.
Springfield/Bridgeport over 5.5 - Will have to see who starts, could be Dipietro. Bridgeport games always seem to tend to go over.
Let's get this paper! Looking at one more game.
Looking at a few ties for Proline/Mise o jeu
Nashville/Dallas
LA/Phoenix

Been super busy with work, my dad's health, filling out my bracket. I really like these two tonight though. Still figuring out my leans for Isles/Habs and Flyers/Rangers. Stay tuned!
Jets -111 - Panthers have lost Theodore and now Weiss for the year. Jets have improved their play on the road. Please no home dog upset win! Think this is an over play too.
Sabres/Canes over 5.5 - Sabres playing better, and Ward's backups should concede more goals.
Still working on the other games, let's get this paper.

Isles on my no bet list for a while. I have no pulse on how they play game from game. Watch them win tonight being a big road dog and all. A few plays tonight. I want to start playing some home dogs, but not biting on Bolts or Sens. Have a proline/mise o jeu parlay with a NYR/Sens tie, a Jets/Canes tie, and Blue Jackets/Red Wings over 5.5.
aNYR/Senators under 5.5 - No Nash, and King Henrik and Anderson should provide for some good goaltending-low scoring.
Bruins - Bolts can score, but like the B's to punish them in their own building.
Canucks - Revenge game for Nucks, like them to bounce back versus Dallas.
Worried about trap Thursdays, I see to like a lot of road teams tonight, will be interesting to see how that works out. Let's get this paper!

Been scarce this season, my father has been ill and some worries on the job front. Still love to see the cappers in this forum with their opinions on my favorite sport. Have yet to find a groove with this season, the Red Wings cost me a huge parlay last night, you might as well just flip a coin on some of these games. On only one game this afternoon.
Isles -110 - Flyers are beat up, not scoring, can't figure them out. I was big on the over total this morning, but not the way Nabakov is playing, plus the early game under jitters. Leaning Isles with this one.

Haven't bet on a lot of hockey yet this year (so far). I love winning puck plays, but really dig it when I see an undervalued dog cash in. I know favorites have been killing it, but think it will turn around soon. Looking at the board tonight, I see three dogs with good value, Canes, Oilers and Ducks. Which one you think has the best chance tonight?

Top o the morning to y'all! The 11th day of the young season and will make some plays after a week or so of getting a pulse on this "special" season. Have seen some head scratching-hard to cap results. Really stoked we have a season, and that my Habs are looking decent with their mix of veterans and youth. The post Gomez era looks to have a bright future! A few picks today, I really like value plays and only a few I see today.
Blackhawks -120 - I know, everybody is on them, but are in such good form is too tough to go against. Give me the Kane gang all day at this price. Am going to watch who will be in Minny nets.
Oilers +105 - I think this year we will see a decline in clubs like the Yotes and Preds, their lack of scoring will do them in. The young Oilers are going to finally harness their power and start to resemble the Nordiques in their final years before they moved to Colorado.
Might have a play on Habs/Sens, but I want to see the Goalies first due to both clubs playing last night. Habs could be an over team this year the way they have opened it up.

Black Wednesday in TDot, but most of the fan reaction to Burke has been positive. Time will tell. As for AHL, please be careful capping this week. There will be callups for NHL training cap, and some clubs like OKC will be stripped of their firepower.
Syracuse/Rochester over 5.5 - As aforementioned in other posts, am all over any Syracuse plays. They score and win a lot. Rochester allows all most as many goals as they score.

Been a while, have been wasting my time capping CFB bowl games and getting fed up over CBA negotitations. Here's hoping 2013 is a better year than nasty 2012! Only playing one pick tonight, but tempted to play Charlotte ml as well, but don't want to screw up a good system. Don't post a lot, but usually am all over any Syracuse and Springfield plays. Also looking on fading the Hamilton Bulldogs for a while. Bummed about the Canada/USA game today, we lose even with locked out players, what can ya do?
Charlotte-Lake Erie over 5.5 - Charlotte has been in poor form of late, clinging to their division lead by one point. Lake Erie should be the right medicine as they are tied for 2nd in goals allowed and are fourth in league scoring. I expect the red light to go on here as these teams are high offense.

First off season's greeting to all my fellow hard luck puck bettors! A travesty we haven't been able to do our thing this fall and pick puck winners. Really miss the camraderie and a bunch of great posters. Nice to see WJC put a bit of a shine for us this time of year. Am going to place a play or two when it gets deeper into the tournament. ONE PLAY today. Maybe one other. Anyone need some reprieve, go to dropyourgloves.com and watch some of the fights of yesteryear. Been on it the past few days and feeling all giddy and nostalgiac.
Syracuse-Binghampton over 5.5 - This is my last leg for a lucrative parlay. Two explosive teams meeting, means this should be at least 4-3.

Just feel the faves will not be up for it tonight. Was going to add t-wolves, but too late.
Mavs +6.5 - Don't trust Miami on the road, think they go at it for a few quarters then get their butt on the plane home. Maybe they get the ml, but taking the points.
Blazers +5.5 - Not in love with this play with Aldridge out, but see this decided by 3-4 points.
Sdst +3.5 - Adding a CFB play just to make it three home dogs. This has the makings of a good game. Counting on it coming down to a field goal, unless SD st wins outright.
Anyways, putting on my best dog gremlin face and rid wit it! Fo sho!

1-1 on Saturday, the Pistons went over which seems to happen whenever I take them under. Really only like one play tonight, but 76ers/Pistons under 186.5 looks tempting. Will be a game time decision, still doing more research.
Spurs/Rockets over 211.5 - too much scoring with these teams. High total is warranted. Spurs coming off 132 points, I figure this should be a ballpark 113-104 Spurs win.

Have barely posted this year. Just going through the peaks and valleys of the bipolar NBA. Anything can happen in these games. Had the Grizzlies at -8.5 last night!
Golden State/Washington over 194.5-Feel this is a few points too low, capped it at 197.
Detroit/Cleveland under 187.5- Since Irving has been out, have been a power outage. Dion Waiters hasn't stepped up like I thought, but he is very young.
BOL to the forum!

3-1 AHL season
Been a rough slog the past few months with no NHL. With the lockout, has really allowed for me to get into college football which I think is easier to cap than NHL or NFL. Was on an unposted over play with OKC/Houston which turned into a bloodbath. May be on those two teams again to go over, but for now only one play.
Springfield/Manchester over 5.5 - Two top notch teams with firepower, hoping it hits after second period.

Absolutely bites with no NHL, but been bidding my time with CFB, NFL and NBA. Buttman doesn't want my dough? No prob. Bet on AHL games a bit last year. Norfolk was a money train, but find this year has been a weird AHL season. Oklahoma is one of the hardest to figure out.
Adirondack-Rochester over 5.5 - Rochester has scored 39 and given up 35, figure they should be good for 4 and Adirondack good for 2-3.
OKC-Abbotsford under 5.5 - OKC is really tough to figure out, they should be destroying the league with Oilers young guns line, but Justin Schultz is their leading scorer. On talent, Nuge Hopkins should be leading the league and OKC lighting it up. Going to be hard versus Abbotsford who have allowed only 18 goals in 9 games.
May have a few more picks, stay tuned.

In gambling hell with no hockey. I love hoops too, but haven't made any public plays. Leaning on one total tonight.
Spurs/Clippers over 200.5- See the total has risen about three points, which is a great thing. Like these two teams to put up points tonight.

First playoff post, judt took some time to soak in who's for real and who is not. Regretted not posting a Cards play today. Looking at a really nice prop play.
A's +1.5 - Griffin should keep this close at home, Scherzer should have a k fest, but will see if that shoulder keeps him from going deep in the game.
prop play
Miguel Cabrera @ 1.55 vs Josh Reddick - most total bases.
Cabs is 2 for 2 lifetime versus Griffin! Reddick has the occasional dinger, but he should have a few k's tonight versus Scherzer. Cabrera is the play!

Been cold of late, haven't posted too often because of it. Small plays on Orioles and A's have been keeping me alive, plus some surprising success with some NFL early on. Really dreading the end of the season because there is no hockey, nothing to bet on til basketball. NFL is not frequent enough and soccer takes my money faster than Revenue Canada. Looking at a few plays today. Would love a 4-0 day to finish off the season.
Angels -177 - A nothing game for them, but give me Weaver to finish a disapointig season on a positive note. Hoping Trout swipes hit 5Oth stolen base!
Astros +113 - Have been late to the Astros new founded profitability run, but seen enough of the Cubs to realise they are god awful. Stros for the sweep! As weird as that sounds.
A's (no line yet) - Give me the Cinderella A's to win the division. Playing like champs, Rangers in a funk. A's are clutch and smell blood in the water. Rooting for either the A's or O's to win it all.
O's (no line yet) - Shields struck them out 15 times yesterday and they still won! The AL has been wiping Oriole bird poop off their face all year and don't see it letting up!

Been a while, hoping to end this baseball season strong, because have been spotty of late. Pissed off about Dbacks and A's last night. Punched in Zona before I heard Aaron Hill wasn't playing, and had A's before I heard Beltre and Hamilton were in. Had a six teamer riding with them so you know the end of the story. Was lucky enough to have Seahawks and the spread thank god. Looking at a few plays.
Nats +1.5 - Respect Hamels, but insane value on Nats who might be gunning for 100 wins or something. Too good to pass up.
A's +178 - Hope to god if they keep this close, Melvin will not go to god awful Tyson Ross again, he blew that game last night. Milone not as good on the road and realise that, but Darvish due for a loss. They need to work up his pitch count, because he gets better as the game progresses. And please Josh Reddick wake up!
Next lean is Royals, I so want to take this, need to see more research on Chen's numbers.

1-2 parlays
Have hit skidsville of late, so wins and moolah have been hard to come by at Shimmersun enterprises. Some of my leans have been rained out so that bites. A few plays that will be parlayed tonight. Looking at Rockies/Giants over tonight, but sense a trap. Want to take Royals so badly, but something is restraining me. Overthinking this shit is tough when you are in the red, but hope for the best.
A's/Balty -130 parlay-Concerns me that Mad Max is on the mound, but Griffin is not junk, in fact he has yet to lose a game, parlaying this with Balty who seem destined for the post season.
Red Sox +152/Rangers+130-Interested to see if Longoria is back as Doubront has been rocked of late, but Bobby V and his leftovers want some vengeance and they seem poised to play spoiler. Dempster has been dealing of late, and this should be a great game, have a feeling this will go to extra innings and like Rangers in this position.
No score first inning Rangers/Angels - Should have a playoff atmosphere. Will take my chances with two studs on the mound.
