The "X" Factor:
Quarterbacks are
still the most important position in the league.. and that is why you
should tread lightly on New Orleans/Arizona and Jets/San Diego. (For
the same reason you should go heavy on Indy/Baltimore - but we'll get
to this later)
Kurt Warner has proven time and time again that
he is one of the best playoff quarterbacks to ever play the game. He
has the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest passing yards per game in the three
Super Bowls he has played in. He also averages an astonishing 67%
completion percentage in the 12 playoff games he's started. He is for
real folks, do not forget it. Despite everything you might think about
Arizona's lack of defense, Kurt Warner and his offensive weapons can go
shot for shot on almost anybody. Remember how good we thought Green
Bay's defense was? He tore them apart and he can do the same thing to
New Orleans. My first lean is that New Orleans can cover the 7 because
of their remarkable offense, but Kurt Warner can certainly keep his
team in the game and potentially cover the 7, if not win outright. My heart says Arizona because I love everything about
this team - they're built for the playoffs in a non-conventional way.
