At first glance here's what I'm looking at. My opinion will probably change after some digging. But here's what draws my attention right now. Boston +4, NJ +3, Minnesota +1, Chicago +4.5, GS +1
Minny, Chicago, and Golden St all look good to me. NJN I'm not so sure about yet even though I think they might have a shot at 2 in a row with the Wizards coming to town. Boston's my long time team so they're always a no play for me.
Good Luck!
Boston +4, Boston as a dog is almost an auto play for me. January has not been a good month for Boston. They are only 6-6 SU this month. These two teams have already played 3 times this season, twice this month. First game of the year, Boston had a full squad and lost in Boston. Earlier this month in Boston w/o KG and Wallace and in Atlanta w/o KG. In the game in Boston, Boston lead for most of the game, had a lead as big as 13 in the 2nd quarter, lead by 9 at the half, lead by as many as 12 in the 3rd, but Atlanta eventually tied it later in the 3rd, going into the 4th Boston held a 3 point lead, but was outscored in the final quarter and out played in the final 3 mins to lose by 6. The game in Atlanta was fairly competitve throughout. Boston's largest lead of that game was 8 in the 2nd quarter and Atlantas was 11 in the 3rd quarter. Atlanta took control of the game in the 3rd quarter and eventually won by 8.
Atlanta is 6-2 this month at home. Losing to NY and OK. In this week Atlanta will be playing some intense games. They just lost in San Antonio, now they're hosting Boston, then going to Orlando and OK. They are 3-0 this season against Boston. Will Atlanta sweep Boston during the regular season? What I do know is Boston did not respond to losing at home on Jan 8th when they had a rematch 3 days later in Atlanta.
So far none of the points have mattered, both games in Boston Atlanta was a dog and won, in Atlanta they were -3.5 and won by 8. I guess it comes down to who do you think will win the game?
Minnesota +1, I really have no respect for the Clippers as a team. Individually, Baron thinks he's better then he is, Thorton is not an intelligent player, Ricky Davis is not intelligent, Kaman has come a long way, Camby is great on defense and rebounding, Gordon is a stud already, Butler can score when he's on, DeAndre and Telfair fuck those guys are crazy. The Clippers just lost to the worse team in the league can they lose to the 2nd worse team in the league? Sure why not! Once this season they were favored on the road at New Orleans -2 and lost 110-102.
Last time they were in Minnesota Dec 16, Minnesota was -1 and lost by 25. Today Clippers are -1, maybe they'll lose by 25 lol.
hmm idk about new jersey. they looked good that last game but we cant forget this team only has 4 wins. as bad as washington is on the road they are still more than twice as good as new jersey is at home. i dont think new jersey is gonna be keeping it all that close if they do lose. id way rather have my money on a 4-40 team not getting back to back wins.
I like the minnesota play. lets not forget that kaman and camby will probably not be playing. That should suck most of the heart out of this team and after 5 losses in a row i expect minnesota to be much more hungry for this win.
Boston +4
Detroit +2 (I always get boned by Detroit)
Minnesota -1
OK -2
