Do you think Umps watch Sportscenter or any other sport shows on tv post games to see how they are criticized for blowing a call? What about watching post game footage to witness if the calls they made when the coaches came out to yell in their face were right/wrong?
If they don't watch them, does MLB in any way? I know they can't change the score or outcome of the games, but what about restricting the Umps from officiating for a while after a blown call or some other kind of ''punishment''. They need instant replay, or challenge flags asap!

for example: the cubs/rockies game. clint barmes foot was off the bag for a routine double play and ump called runner out. clearly when he should be safe since foot was off bag. Lou P. comes running out to yell about bad call and he gets thrown out...
