Not sure how many of ya guys are into the outdoors but love viewing this cam. Saw a coon fighting with a deer a fewevenings ago.

...looks like there might be Bobcats in that area. Those Turkeys are feeding in the open and constantly alert for an ambush.

I work in a suburb of Minneapolis...right off of 494....huge interstate.  We get a group of turkeys that come out of a little wooded area next to us and just hang in the parking lot.  It's just bizzare.  Also, earlier this year, a sharpshooter on the top of our building took down a deer that was potentially going to be a problem (apparently, they thought he was going to mosey out onto the highway).

Not at all....their population is just soaring.  I remember never seeing them.  Now they are everywhere.  I was coming home from KC a few months ago and north on 35W.  When I got into MN, I ran into them left and right off the highway (you'd see flocks in fields...or groups in ditches).  Just everywhere.

Alright, I'm going to be truthful.....I have had this webcam on since I saw this thread......

 

I'm addicted and I don't know why.....I find it soothing I guess....This is more interesting than dealing with my staff that's for sure...

 

I'll be waiting for you nature...You can't hide from me Char Man....

     Your location says British Columbia.  I'm in Atlanta, Georgia and yes we have alot of parks in this city,  we also have ball parks, tennis courts, lots of car traffic, and unfortunately alot of the criminal element likes to hang out in these parks....the animals are usually hiding outside the parks...price of living  among fiour million people. Count your blessings.

They have two or three other cams set up that go of motion. If a deer or any animal come to that cam it flips from the usual one that is on. The one that is usually on isn't a motion it is always running

Really? Ive been there once for 10 seconds and I saw a group deer.

Its an okay idea, but it only refreshes every 5 seconds... if it was full streaming video it would be great

There is an automated feeder which is setup to feed at 7:15 AM, 12:00 Noon, 7:30 PM, and 10:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone) on the main camera. The feeder puts out a small amount of cracked corn and sweet feed to attract an array of wildlife. The feed is only used to attract the wildlife and not provide a food source they can live off of.
