Probably this is just begging the gambling gods for a loss, but I did see some pretty good games this week that others may not be aware of.
you probably know:
1) TCU -3 @ BYU -- TCU has just been great this year. I really don't have anything bad to say about the team -- they shut down CJ Spiller, which isn't easy to do and they have just been excellent up front on D and on special teams.
BYU has underachieved all season, though their last couple of games were convincing wins, and though they are home dogs, which is always scary, I think TCU gets it done
2) TROY -21 vs NTEXAS - probably a game not many people are on, but this seems like a situation not to be afraid of laying the big #. Troy plays a "fast break" style offense, so they put up points in a hurry. They did let their foot off the gas last week, which cost some backers $$ if they had the line at -9.5. So, there is some rist that the trojans will pull punches late in the game. Still, I like Troy
3) PITT -6.5 vs. SFLA - yeah, wanstach is way to conservative, and yeah, SFLA has looked exceptionally good, but this is a cold weather game at home with a team that can run the ball all over the place. I think PITT will get it done.
Again, take it with a grain of salt, because I don't start a lot of threads...but that is my .02 on a few games this weekend.
