Rays and Indians over 7.5 +101
Yankees over 3.5 runs for game -108
In cleve game Im basically wagering on Shield pitching poorly on road and Rays getting 2 maybe 3 vs Lee. Kind of a 5-3 type of game.
Yankees may struggle with the Doc but should get 2. I dont see Holiday going 9 (all Star game ?) Im counting on NY getting into Jays bullpen.
Just my thoughts. Good luck with everyones picks.

RL - +111
For those who play the RL, you get plus money with Cook at home vs Hendrickson for the Marlins. Not necessary to go into Cooks stats, they speak for themselves, his era at home is excellent and he is going up against a 6 ft 8 sieve of a pitcher. Hendrickson started out around 7-1 and is now 7-7 if memory serves me correctly and he has been getting shelled lately.
Granted the Marlins are the better team but I will take my chances with Cook at home.
Seem like an excellent wager at plus money for those who like to play the RL like I said. I am defintely on it. Comments welcome.

Cleveland RL +127
Have to go with the indians in this one by 2. Laffey has pitched well all year and home record excellent, while Arroyo has been cold lately especially last start vs Jays. Little incentive might be being shut out yesterday by the reds. ML at -167 way to much juice, have to give the RL a shot at plus money.

over 7.5 -112
Not sure Doc is totally over the whack in the head he received the other day when pitching. Harang has been nothing special lately. Dont like the fact that the Jays scored 14 last night but all I need is 8 to win, not asking to much with 2 good hitting clubs.

Colorado RL +137
Got the +137 at Pinny last night, down to +118 now. Granted the rockies have nothing to be happy about with the season they are having but the one bright spot has been the pitching of Cook. Year in and year out, the guys numbers have always been there and this year is not different.
I dont know much about the SF pitcher, Misch other than his numbers have not been impressive this whether on road or at home.
ML is at -177 for Rockies, way too much juice. Have to give RL a shot at such good odds.
Just my thoughts, good luck everybody.

Little juice, I know but these 2 pitchers have faced each other twice this year and both times the scores have been unde 3-1 and 4-0, worth a shot !

St. Louis -1.5 (RL)
1) Home Record
2) Wellemeyer ex.stats at home
3) Duke not bad but gives up a lot of hits
4) Cardinals lineup
5) Right behind cubs for first
6) Team hits lefthanders really well
7) Pirates poor on road
7) Wish me luck and good luck with everyones picks.

Two first place teams going at it,while going over stats, it seems that white sox have a little bit of an edge. Although jackson has been pitching lights out this year in comparison to last year, danks hasnt been to shabby either. Another stat that may not mean anything this year is that white sox beat Jackson twice last year. Do not see must difference in hitters for both teams. Just a gut feeling that Chicago pulls out a close one on the road.
Good luck with everyones picks.

Strictly a pitchers wager, wakefields era is over 7 indoors and Bedards is under 2 so counting on a 6-3 kind of game . Gd luck with everyones pks.

Boston -- RL -115
I know a lot of people are staying from this game because dice k is "due" to lose and the sox away record, etc. etc. 3825 makes a lot of good points in his thread to stay away from this game but the one thing convinced me is that its Batista pitching, the guys era at home is almost 10 runs per game and vs Boston its almost 7 , gotta go for it even with the juice.
Good luck with everyones picks.

2) Better Hitters
3) Lester at home vs Loch...who?
4) Still KC
5) TB, closing in for first
6) Just my humble opinion, gentlemen.

Yankees RL +148
Even with their depleted lineup, still like Yanks chances with Pettitte on the hill against Bonderman, walks will kill you everytime.

Like cleveland by 2 tonite, Tomko overated and Grand salami under 10.5 at plus money. I think teams will just be feeling each other out for first game of series. Not to mention all of det and colo games went under during season.

Cant keep track of my record, somewhere around 5-5
Tigers -1.5 +161 (time for tigers to roll)
St Louis -1.5 +170 (Hate Bush)
Cinn under 11 +105 (this one makes me nervous)
Good Luck, everyone.

Ytd : Props 2-0
Like Tundra said the Ducks have to win this game to stay in it. If stars can win by 4, dont see why Ducks cant win by 2 at home, right ?

Parlay: Yanks +1.5 and Texas ML
Yanks in a good spot with their ace going and Texas has always handled the Jays especially at home. Jays pitcher Litsch is still a rookie, so why not give it a shot at plus money ?
Posted Friday, April 11, 2008 05:20 PM
Parlay: Pens and Flyers +1.5
Pittsburgh is Pittsburgh and from what I can see everyone is counting the flyers out because of the big "0" and their streak at the end of season. Phillie is not going to roll over , this is the playoffs not reg. season.
Just my thoughts.

Playoffs - 1-0
Over 1.5 goals for 1st period
I know that generally playoff games are low scoring but I can see 1-1 or 2-0 end of period easily and plus money as well.

Team total - Reds over 4.5 runs
Neither one of these pitchers pitched well in their opening starts. Bush is a mediocre pitcher who gives up 4 and 5 runs per game with regularity and Fogg is just a bad pitcher. Just go over his numbers the past few years. Milwaukee may win but it wont be a close game and at plus money, why not ?

Oakland over 3.5 runs for game
Oakland almost always plays Jays tough. I know they are not scoring much but we also dont know which Burnett will show up, the new pitcher we keep on reading about or the one who gives up 5 or 6 before 7 th inning?
Gaudin is an ex-jay and nothing special but all I need is 4 runs so the score doesnt really matter. Just my thoughts. Comments welcome.

Angels RL +129
More of a wager on Garland than Padilla who I think should not even be in the rotation. Plus La at home and playing well. Just my thoughts.

Koaj made a good point in his thread, could not agree more. National league pitcher coming over to a new league, not to mention that the white sox bats have not been to shabby either. See a high scoring game like last night.
Good luck with everyones wagers.

Ytd - 1-2
Dont see why this game should be at 7.5 runs. Maddux, in my opinion is past his prime and very hittable. Era last year was around 4 and half and Rodriguez about the same. I know that Houston are not hitting yet (1 run in 2 games) but worth a shot at plus money. Can see a 5-3 or 6-2 type of game.
