Thursday... Keep Riding the Sox

Red Sox have now won 10 straight at Fenway Park.  (7 straight overall)  Josh Beckett is 9-1 at Fenway this year.  The Red Sox team batting average against Ervin Santana is .317 with an OBP nearing .400...  Victor Martinez returns to the lineup just in time to takeover for Varitek who is a whopping 0-11 lifetime off Santana.

Beckett has not been lights out as of late, but is coming off a very solid performance against the Rays.

Sox to the bank tonight

you have to think that Vlad is going to take the day off, due to that stinger he took to the ribs. Won't have much torque coming around.

Good Luck!

Good luck with that... everyone and their grandmother will be on BOS after the last couple of games and knowing how these games go Vegas will clean up again.  No play for me.

Did you play this game or this is just a fan appreciation thread?

-171 might be a bit too steep for me, but good luck to you!

Usually a non play if Tek isn't catching Beckett. I haven't checked if Vmart has worked with him yet but I know Santana loves to be 3-2 on EVERYONE and that's not going to fly at Fenway.  BoSox and the over-we know Beckett's good for one walk and a blast (usually the 1st inning).

Yes, ut you did have that tid bit on the LAA's record going against Kellog for an ump. That is not enough for you to seal the deal?

Josh Beckett is 0-4 vs LAA in his last 4 starts. LAA is prolly not that bad to get swept.

the value train for the sox were in gms 1 and 2. you all are willing to lay -171? wow. value is on the boys from anaheim today. i know the angels have been struggling, but they are still the angels. i'd happily back the pup in this one, knowing the angels are still in the playoff chase and have a good history against beckett.

Like the play, under is 18-7-1 in Jeff Kellogg's last 26 games as ump.
