How do you let someone come into MSG and drop 61 pts on your head! Then, the next game, let someone else drop a triple double with 52 points?! 
Nevermind that it is Kobe or Lebron, they should have tasted the floor a couple of times!  D'Antonio should have given the order for a scrub to come out and give a couple of hard fouls like Isiah Thomas once did against the Nuggets when they were running up the score.   Instead, Kobe was given a standing Ovation and Lebron was being brown nosed by the fans of the Knicks because he might be a Knick in 2010?!
Those are not real Knicks fans, they are there for the show and to show their pretty faces!  I wish I could afford to go to game, but I'm stuck here on Wagerline bitching!

Yeah, the real Knicks' fans were the ones cheering Al Harrington's 39 points, 13 rebounds on 16-24 67% shooting.........to cover the spread.

The Knicks will be spending a lot of money soon.  With a much better general manager.  Right now, they hardly have a team , yet are better than Toronto and are about to pass last season's total wins.  When they're back in the playoffs , I guarantee the fans will be throwing tomatoes at all of the stars that don't sign with NY.

the Knicks are trying to get Lebron to come to NY in 2010, you think hes gonna want to play for a coach that sent players to take him out?

 

and they want him to experience a great game in MSG to draw him to the team

D'Antoino's plan almost worked. Both games came down to the wire until the better teams started pulling away. You can't double team a LeBron James or Kobe Bryant because they will either break the double or make a quick pass to the wide open person.You only double near the end & pray that their teammates are cold.

Why would Lebron's teammates be any less cold with 5 minutes left in the third quarter than with 30 seconds remaining?  What dumbass writer wrote this. 

And I agree with what a previous poster said about how the Knicks can't foul the great Lebron as they believe it might hinder in some fashion his decision to come play for them.  I said the same thing last night.  If that was me coaching the Knicks I'd have been calling Malik Rose's number off the bench to go out there and give the King himself a vicious clothesline.

Yeah, the old school Knicks wouldn't have sent Kobe and Lebron to the line a

zillion times.  In Jordan's 1995  55 point game against the knicks, he

only took 11 foul shots.  The rest was done by 21-37 shooting on

menacing knicks defense.
