Going against Padraig Harrington, who is (common knowledge) retooling his swing. He is having a tough year, and in his video on his site admits he doesn't have the confidence, but believes he is on the right track. I'm not willing to back that. Currently there are 2 matchups at my book that I am considering, and they are as follows:
Luke Donald -185 vs Padraig Harrington
Ian Poulter -155 vs Padraig Harrington
Some stats on Harrington:
He has played in 14 events, has 0 top 10's, is ranked 142nd in the Fed Ex Cup. He is currently the 17th ranked player in the World Golf Rankings. His scoring average rank is 143rd. He is 197th in Greens in Regulation. He is 165th in Putting. His all around ranking is 176th. He has missed the cut 6 times.
Luke Donald
Has played in 15 events, has 5 top 10's, missed 2 cuts, is ranked 23rd in the Fed Ex Cup rankings, 10th in scoring average, 76th in Greens in regulation, and 2nd in putting. His all around ranking is 24th.
Ian Poulter
Has played in 12 events, has 4 top 10's, ranked 37th in Fed Ex Cup rankings, missed 3 cuts, 32nd in scoring average, 180th in Greens in regulation, 75th in putting, and all around ranking is 106th.
Will probably just pound Luke Donald -185 over Harrington.........I know it is a steep price, but on paper, this seems to be a mismatch......
Thoughts?
