Tulsa +6.5 (bought hook)
Northern Colorado -16
Bradley -3
Kentucky 2nd Half +5
BYU 1st Half -7.5
Old Dominion 2nd Half -7
Let's stay hot today.
Liking St Joe's -3.5 in this spot. I think they use that triple overtime game as motivation to get the ball rolling in the A-10
VA Commonwealth. -9 Love Eric Maynor and his PG play. Will dominate Towson's guards and we all know CBB starts with good guard play.
Wake Forest -4 BC are frauds and it will show even further tonight. Wake Forest will take these last two big wins (@BYU & North Carloina) and use them to propel them into a big season. They won't let up tonight.
Temple -10.5 Penn simply lacks the athletes to stay with Temple. Christmas and Brooks should have big games because Penn also lacks guard quickness. I think Bernardini will struggle from the pressure defense.
Baylor -1.5 Loving Baylor in this spot. I think Baylor is still upset at that South Carolina loss and will look to run opponents out of the gym from here on out with their superir guard play. A&M clearly isn't the same squad from last year and there shouldn't be a repeat of that multiple overtime game from last year. Jerrells and Dunn get it done for Baylor tonight.
Dayton -22 Fordham isn't really good and their record proves it. Dayton is a solid bunch with no dominant scorer, average wise, so they're getting solid numbers scoring from everyone. I like balanced teams to get the job done against inferior opponents against high point spread.
Any thoughts and also any half points I buy the hook.
There are a few tempting games out there tonight. So faar im liking
SD -1.5 @ SF
Intrigued by the fact that Rob Jones is playing at home. I think SD is too big and SF record is a little misleading.
St. Mary's -14.5 vs. Santa Clara
Santa Clara has struggled immensely lately. Played like crap on their east coast swing. Saint Mary's, on the other hand has to have a strong showing in league play. I feel they have to remid the country that the WCC is not a 1 team conference after Gonzaga's comeback win @ Tennessee. Mills, Simpson @ Samhan get it done.
Fairfield -1 @ Loyola MD
Loyola MD!!!!! Need I say more. Fairfield has been surprisingly good and efficient. Loyola just finished a mentally draining past few games, playing Duke, N.C. State & Niagara.
Niagara -13.5 @ St. Peter's
Ok. I know Niagara burned us in their last game, but St. Peter's has been a perennial doormat in the MAAC. Two of their wins has come against lower level Div. 1 competition (NJIT & Farleigh Dickinson) and one against LIU Brooklyn. Niagara is an excellent covering team and should get rid of St. Peter's rather easily. Take advantage of this spread. It's only this low because Niagara is @ St. Peter's. Benn & Lewis should have an easy time making shots against an overmatched squad.
