I respect everyone's opinions and i do think this line does look like a trap but I feel this game could be over at half. SD generally starts off slow and if they go down by 14+ in 1st H they will have a tough time with Rodgers and company.

SD wins have been against weak competition: Minny with McNabb at QB, KC barely, Miami, Denver.

GB has faced better competiton: NO, CHI, ATL

GB is coming off a BYE week. They are healthy.

GB is averaging 32.9 ppg and  423 yards.

Positives for GB: GB offensive points scored Rank is #1, Passing Yds rank #3

Negatives for GB: Defensive Total Yards allowed #28, however Points allowed Rank #9

Positives for SD: Passing Yards Rank #6 (against WEAK competition), Defensive total yards allowed rank is #6 (WEAK competition)

Negatives for SD: Points allowed Rank #16 ( Not good against the #1 ranked points scoring team.. GREEN BAY), Offensive Points scored Rank #15

Their defense does give up a lot of passing yards which is Rivers bread and butter, but Rivers is just not the Rivers of last season, he looks as though hes nursing an injury. He looks as though hes pushing the ball and not getting enough zip.


Rodgers 20 TDs, 3 Int
Rivers 7 Tds, 11 Int (Keep in mind SD RB Matthews is doubtful and Tolbert is banged up too)

SD are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
GB are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games.

SD has more injuries and very banged up RB core. Mathews is doubtful, Tolbert is probable, Brinkley is doubtful. Rivers will rely on his arm and he better watch out with Charles Woodson in the secondary who is having a great season. If Sam Shields can play tomorrow it will be a long afternoon for Rivers.

I do not care that Rivers wants to redeem himself from last games debacle. It puts even more pressure on him to perform. Ive seen him in similar situations completely fall apart and he is facing the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS, don't ever forget that for a minute.

GL to whatever you choose, if your gut tells you GB is a sucker play then go ahead and taken SD with the points no the ML. All comments welcome, however on paper this looks like a GB 34-24 victory.

I dont see chuck standing with AJ, his standup is far superior. CB has good wrestling but AJ is no slouch in that department. I dont see CB being able to lay on AJ like he did to Story.

Stuart Appleby -140 over Robert Garrigus *** Appleby 3 time 3 peat winner of this tourney, he takes control of this tourney and shoots a better round than Garrigus. Bubba Watson -105 over Ian Poulter  **- Bubba eagled 18 and had 5 birdies, his only 2 hiccups were double bogeys, if he had bogeyed or par'd those holes he could easily be leading in this tourney. Look for him to play very well tomorrow, this guy can really crush the ball Dustin Johnson -115 over Ernie Els  ** - Johnson shot a great round until the 17th hole in which he double bogeyed, he had 6 birdies 2 bogeys and a double bogey. He is the 3rd farthest driver on tour but easily one of the best all around golfers and athletes. He comes out firing tomorrow.
