Had to take a few days off after things just won't going well. Need to clear the mechanism.
On to tonight's plays:
Bobcats +2.5 (1 Unit) - I think this is a better than we realize Bobcats team that matches up fairly well with the Hawks. I like the return of Al Jefferson tonight. He will be rusty but he's still a nice body to, if anything, play minutes and draw fouls. I like the Bobcats to win this game.
Orlando +2 (1 Unit) - Magic are just a much better team than the Celtics. I know this game is in Boston, but Magic are just playing better ball and I feel like they are good enough to win this road matchup.
Jazz +2 (1 Unit) - I think we see the Jazz' first win tonight. Nuggets are a team that hasn't gotten it going yet and they are always a terrible road team. I think this one will come down to the wire, but I like the Jazz to pull "the upset."
Good luck all and sorry for the rushed write-ups.
2-3 night, I thought I was gonna get back on track starting 2-0 but failed to cash the final 3. Thanks for showing up for the 4th bulls. But at least my 2 unit play hit to break even on the night.
On to tonight's light schedule:
Clippers +6 (2 units) - The Clippers lost last night to the lowly Magic obviously looking ahead to this game. I think the Clippers give the Heat their best punch tonight and with the way the Heat have been starting slow, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Clippers with a nice little maybe 8-10 pt cushion at halftime. I think the Clippers are coming to Miami expecting to win and we may see it tonight. Catching the Heat at the right time.
Rockets -13 (1 Unit) - This is what Dwight has been waiting for. The moment he gets to stick it to the Lakers for the first time. I think Dwight is gonna have a monster game maybe 25 and 18 and Harden and the boys will step up for him. Rockets are self-motivated in this one and the Lakers are simply outgunned.
Only two plays tonight.
Good luck all!
2-4 night last night. Another crushing blow as my 2 unit play collapsed for the 2nd straight night in the Nuggets. Need to shake it off and move on. All we can do is keeping fight.
Gonna be another large card tonight as I try and right the ship:
Wizards -1.5 (2 units) - I'll fade the Sixers here again in basically a pick em. The Wizards team already lost to this Sixers team at home after blowing a near 15 pt. lead at halftime. I think the Wizards will be hungry to get revenge tonight and as the Sixers showed against GSW, there 3-0 start is likely a mirage. I think this young Wizards team gets their first win tonight, but knowing my luck they will win by 1.
Chicago +3 (1 unit) - I'll fade Indiana again. I love this spot for the Bulls as they are rested and the Pacers just played a bullish game with the Pistons up in Detroit. The travel isn't too bad but I think this game will have a playoff like feel and will be close throughout and like the rested Bulls to snag the road win and give the Pacers their first loss of the year.
Bobcats +2.5 (1 unit) - Toronto and Charlotte both played well last night, but the Bobcats pulled out a win and I think have confidence right now while the Raptors lost a tough one to Miami where they gave all their energy. I like the home team here to not only cover but win the game.
Jazz +4.5 (1 unit) - Quite frankly the Celtics should just not be favored against many teams let alone by this many points. The Jazz have a nice core and I think they get their first win in a battle of winless losers.
Timberwolves -1 (1 Unit) - These guys burned me bad Monday against Cleveland. Hoping they don't do it to me again. I think this is gonna be a very high scoring game and the Twolves can hang with the Warriors. This is the Warriors 2nd game on their road trip and hopefully the unfamiliar rims keep them down and allow Minny to pull this one out at home.
Good luck all and sorry for any that tailed me the past couple days.
1-2 day yesterday losing 2 units due to my play of the day losing. Unreal Cavs win by 1 after being up 16 with 5 mins left, absolutely brutal finish. At least the Rockets I was completely wrong on. Sixers fade finally worked.
Pistons +1 (1 Unit) - I really like this new look Pistons team and love their frontcourt of Monroe, Drummond and Smith. The Pacers biggest advantage over teams is their size and that's something they don't have in this matchup. I think this game will be a toss up because of that and like the home team to steal one from a better Pacers team.
Pelicans -9.5 (1 Unit) - This became a play for me after the news of Dragic being out. The Suns are one of the worst teams in the NBA and on the road and Goran is one of their only silver linings. I like the Pelicans front court to abuse them and Miles Plumlee will get owned by Anthony Davis.
Denver +4.5 (2 Units) - I honestly think the Nuggets win this game straight up. They have one of the better home court advantages in the league and this team will get up for their game against Spurs. I think McGee and Faried have their way tonight. And Lawson has a nice game against Parker.
Portland -1 (1 Unit) - This is me playing the Blazers home court advantage and against Rockets on 2nd of B2Bs.
Atlanta +2 (1 Unit) - I think this game is a toss up and I like the Hawks ability to close better than this young Kings team.
Good luck all!
2-2 day yesterday, tough not to hit that Lakers U but glad they pulled it out.
On to tonight:
Cavs -1.5 (2 unit play) - Twolves coming in on back to back roadies. I think the Cavs are gonna come to play tonight against an undefeated Wolves team. Irving hasn't shown himself much yet this year but tends to step up against other elite guards and I think he will outshine Rubio. Kevin Love will be a problem as always, but I think the Cavs are able to squeak this one out at home.
Houston +5 (1 Unit) - Honestly, I just think in a toss up matchup, I need to take 5 points. The Rockets could easily win this game. I'll gamble.
Warriors -7 (1 Unit) - I'm doing it again. I'm going against my Sixers. I really think the Sixers are outgunned here. And I don't think they can keep up with the feverish pace the Warriors are gonna want to run at. The warriors will get into the 100's, I'm not sure the Sixers will.
Good luck all and let's continue to do what we do!
