Hey there, I dropped by in that thread, but unfortunately have no insight into your questions, if that's what you were hoping for. Don't really have any insight into these specific issues. As for Bodog, for years I have been telling everyone I know to not play there. I am not surprised in the least w/ what has happened considering that Ayre has been mocking the US for the longest time. And to keep company assets on US soil was the ultimate invitation for prosecution.

Haha, that's pretty funny. I'm definitely thirsty for a winning streak, that's for sure.

What the hell, that is so weird. I clicked to reply to your post, and then submitted it and it vanished into thin air....
Anyway, I basically wrote that it was an interesting take but one that wouldn't hold any water with the big picture. Bookies are in the business of taking any bets at their price, to rake in their juice. This is not what happens at MB. It is just a forum where bettors can meet and place bets. We are not in the business of collecting juice by doing business on MB; rather it is MB being the bookie and taking juice from us! Also, most of the bets we make aren't offered by us but are already there from market makers that put up the dough. And, at the end of the day, MB facilitates it all, so any responsibility (none, since they are outside of Us jurisdiction and do everything the right way) would fall on their shoulders.
