The puck drops Thursday night on another NHL season and that means Puckhead Sports is back to doing what I do best making money on the ice. I just recently found covers so I am glad to be a member of this great community. I only bet hockey and dedicate all my time to picking winners on the ice. I have been profitable for the last 7 years and have advised friends every year on who to take. Now I will give out a few picks here on covers as well so you can follow me. Usually in the early part of the season Vegas is way off on lines as usual and this is where we take advantage of these lines. Usually the public backs the same teams at the start of the year and also backs the chic or sexy pick which is fine those are the games to stay away from. Those lines are so schewed the wrong way it isnt a profitable play. Its the boring teams or teams that missed the playoffs that are the attractive teams, if you take a team like Dallas for example you will see there is very little talk about them. Last year was a dismal season for them but if you look further you notice that Dallas was hit with a major injury bug as they lost alot of players early and also had an off year from Marty Turco. Morrow played 18 games before going down, Richards missed 26 games. Brunnstrom missed 27 games but there was a positive though as Loui Eriksson had a break through year with 36 goals and 63 points no imagine a healthy Morrow on his line and his production should go up. There are other teams like this as well that was just one example. A team like Dallas will not be a sexy play early as everyone will look to back the Pens,Wings,Columbus,Vancouver etc. Vegas will take a while to adjust there line for teams like Dallas and this is where we pounce on them and make our money early and build a nice bankroll.
