...wouldn't you be shocked, baffled, and downright PISSED that you weren't favored in the big game? Wouldn't you at least feel slighted? Disrespected perhaps?
Methinks that by Las Vegas making the Packers the favorite, the Steelers now have ALL of the so-called "bulletin-board" material that they could ever want or need to "prove" to the world that the "experts" have made a grave error... and this makes me like Pittsburgh even more frankly...
...BUT --- as we all know, his nag of a mother undoubtedly brow-beat Tiger into finally getting married and ultimately demanding him to GIVE HER SOME GRAND-BABIES!!!! To wit, IMG management probably encouraged him to do the "family" thing too in an effort to make him even more marketable (not to mention put an end to the gay rumors lmfao) --- the perfect golfer with the perfect swing, perfect wife, and perfect life. My theory regarding Tiger's double-life & two-timing ways and and his innumerable marital indiscressions (with as many as a dozen floozies possibly) stems from his extended world-wide travel and the loneliness his schedule likely entails. His infidelity can also be described accurately as acts of "rebellion", ie "Nobody tells me what to do, who to marry, who I can screw, I'm Tiger freakin' Woods after all..." etc.
Tiger's acts, while selfish, should not come as a surprise to anyone who is familiar with the temptations that professional athletes and celebrities are confronted with on a daily basis. Let's face it folks, he's basically a billionaire Playboy, the most famous, most worshipped and recognized athlete on the planet; the world is HIS oyster, the rest of us are just living in it. Why not satisfy his most immediate and basest of carnal needs if the other parties (chicks) are hot, ready, willing, and ABLE? And while I don't think his taste in women is all that great, he DID nail a few hotties along the way I suppose. I don't get the whole Vicodin/Ambien aphrodesiac angle however...
I personally don't require an apology from Eldrick to continue admiring his dominance of Golf or his legendary work ethic, if I were him, and got married too soon just to make Mama Woods happy (and shut-up), for all the wrong reasons, then I TOO would have probably had all kinds of mistresses all over the U.S. and the globe --- but I would have been a bit more careful, SMARTER about the electronic paper-trail/cell-phone texts that eventually got him into trouble with his wife, his sponsors, and ultimately the world at large.
Tiger, do yourself and everybody else a favor and get back on the golf course ASAP to do what you do best --- WIN. His image and reputation are both undeniably TARNISHED for now, but still far from being permanently destroyed... another win and Green Jacket @ Augusta later this April would go a long way to help restore the publics' previous opinions/perception of the world's greatest athlete... Tiger would be a FOOL to miss a Masters right now, if he is indeed still serious about eclipsing Nicklaus' Majors total.
