Sorry for the extreme lateness
here are today's plays...no time for breakdowns
(all are in units risked)
STL-1.5 -110 1.65 units
PHI -1.5 +148 1 unit
LAD -1.5 +140 1.5 units
Tuesday = 1-0 +2.5 units
Wednesday = 4-0 +5.9 units
(there was also a 1 unit play on PHI OVR 5 runs that was late to the original blog due to the line not opening early with the others...HOU was taken at +170, and BOS RL 2 units at +110)
Thursday = 2-0 +3.17 units
Friday = 1-2 -1.06 units
we were due for a losing day finally...lucky it wasnt -5.25 units (NYY top 9th)
Play 1 unit Yankees OVR 4.5 Runs -125, yes high juice but nice number.
- I think NYY gets 2 or 3 off the starter and can get the bullpen for at least another 2 or 3.
HOU 1st 5 was taken at +114 2 units
HOU@MIL
Play HOU 1st 5 Innings ML 2 units +116
- Rodriguez and Gallardo are both solid...but Rodriguez is "Ace" quality and should shut down the MIL hitters early. I think 2 runs in 5 innings wins it for us.
- The 2 pitchers just faced each other recently with Rodriguez outdueling Gallardo...and yet we are still getting plus money.
- HOU won 2 of 3 in their last series.
- 1st 5 innings because I cant trust the bullpen after FLA ripped them apart.
NYY@SEA
Play NYY -1.5 +111 2 units
- Pettite has been absolute money recently. L3 0.90 ERA 1.00 WHIP over 20 innings.
- NYY's bullpen has also been solid recently posting an ERA full 2 points lower than SEA's over the L5.
- NYY's lineup is far superior...no further explaination needed.
- With a high scoring team like NYY the -1.5 is less potentially damaging to us...vice a low scoring solid defensive team would be like SF. (Knock on wood)
For now...thats all. But very possibly may play on NYY individual team OVR, and MIL individually UND for first 5 innings. Depends on what numbers come out later on.
