Ok maybe i've watched one too many family guy reruns. But seriously, what is with so many people posting plays without picks these days. I started checking out these forums about 3-4 years ago and it used to be really useful because people would write reasons along with their picks. This, in turn, led to good discussion and other views. Basically just more good information.
These days, nobody gives a writeup for anything. There are a couple "respected" cappers like rush, gamehunter, target 9, etc. that simply post picks most of the time with no writeup. I understand that is their perogative and they may not have time for writeups,but i'm not sure what just posting a pick adds to this forum. On any given night, if you click on enough posters, you will find enough people on both sides.
I personally think the reasoning behind the plays is much more important. Not only does it add information to the forum, it allows less experienced cappers like myself who have only been doing this for a few years to pick up new capping trends, strategies, etc. to use in our own handicapping. Say what you want about MrBator, but i've learned tons of nuggets of knowledge about handicapping from reading his writeups. I wish more of you would share the same kind of knowledge.
